I feel I am helping my dog to stay healthy.
My dog is so picky. She only likes certain treats and food and even then, she will turn up her nose at them at times. I was so hoping she would like these vitamins because she needs them. Her diet is is wacky. These cute heart shaped chews and slightly larger than my Yorkie likes BUT she actually eats them. I was surprised when I gave her two halves and she ate them without any issues at all. She has been eating one a day now for a while. I don't see any major changes in her overall health but she is a healthy 5 1/2 year old and I want to keep her that way as she ages. These ensure that she gets the vitamins she needs and they are not mega doses which I avoid even for my own vitamins. So far, so good. Molly eats the chews, no stomach issues, and I feel like I am doing something positive for my beloved dog.

Potato starch, cane molasses, canola oil
Dog food sold in the U.S. is required to meet nutritional standards so there is generally no need for a vitamin supplement. People who feed their dogs whole foods would be unlikely to give their furbaby these chews as the ingredients are mostly nutritional junk except for the dried pork liver that is included for flavor. The first three ingredients are potato starch, cane molasses, and canola oil. So they don't really meet a need and they are much too expensive to use as treats.

dogs can use multivitamins too
I give my dogs multivitamins made for dogs. They like the chew. They seem like they are doing fine. They are not lacking essential vitamins or minerals. Not all dog food has all the nutrients that animals need and not all of them have the combination that allows their bodies to absorb the nutrients better and give them immunity protection too.

My dog is waiting for them in the morning.
Make sure to check your dogs weight as it goes from one up to four a day. My doxie gets one and my lab gets three. Again its based on weight. The first day both dogs stuck their noses in the air. I left it alone and attempted on day 2. Reese, my lab went for it. After she ate one she took the next two. Winston still kept his nose in the air. Day 3 Reese was thumping her tail on the floor and Winston looked interested. Reese gulped all of hers and Winston mouthed his then chomped away. By Day 4 I had won them over. I love the heart shape. Its just cute. They do not smell bad. Some dog goodies can be bad but these are not. Over all I am happy with these as my dogs are getting vitamins and what they now believe to be a treat. That is a winner all day long.

Less Vitamins Included Than Other Brands - Dog Enjoyed Eating These
The Smart Fido Multivitamin is an okay dog vitamin if you’re looking for a small vitamin boost for your dog. Because of my dog’s age, I’ve been supplementing his meals with an 8-in-1 multivitamin and after reading the label of the Smart Fido vitamin list, I don’t think it’s the best vitamin for most dogs based on the limited vitamins included. The analysis label reads more like a dog food label and the vitamins included are generally lower concentration than other brands. These vitamins are also contain sugar in the form of cane molasses as the second ingredient. Because it’s not mentioned on the label, I’m presuming these vitamins also include grain, corn, and soy, however they are not listed in the ingredients in a simplified form. I’m not sure if these are processed in a factory that do include grain, corn, or soy, but for those who are limiting their dog’s grain intake, you may want to be aware of that. In terms of look, scent, and appeal to my dog, these definitely were happily accepted. The chews are like little treats for my dog, and he ate them with no problems. These treats smell and look like heart shaped bouillon cubes. Overall, these are an okay vitamin to offer your dog, but there are many other similar options out there with more vitamins, additional supplements such as glucosamine, cod liver oil, biotin, and CoQ10 at a similar cost. While these okay to try once, these are likely a vitamin I would not buy in the future.

Doggy disappointment.
These chews came just as I expected. They were presented professionally and were soft as they said. One big problem... My dogs wouldn't eat them. They wouldn't touch them.

SmartFido, please add expiration dates to your packaging.
I have given my lab at least five different brands of dog supplements ... ALL of them had an expiration date. I am not sure why SmartFido brand can't include an expiration date on their supplements. They put a lot code, but no expiration date. For that reason alone, I would not purchase this particular supplement.

Dog loved these
My basset loves these soft shoe vitamin supplements. He thinks they are treats so he eats them without a problem. These definitely have good nutrition in them. My dog had no problems with stomach or intestinal issues after eating these. These are a great supplement for a picky dogs.
