As close to perfect as you can get...
I work from home and am on my laptop for 12-14 hours a day, so being comfortable is a necessity. I rarely sit at a desk, choosing instead to sit on the couch in my den or in my office. One of the biggest problems with laptops is that you end up craning your neck down, which gives you headaches, neck aches, and, eventually, will end with you looking like the Hunchback of Notre Dame. In an effort to avoid all of these problems, I have spent years looking for a laptop desk that is high enough and comfortable enough to both avoid these problems and not be so bulky that it annoys me.I've bought almost every laptop desk in creation. The bean bag desks are typically too short (so I bought a metal riser that was very cool and lifted the laptop enough, but the metal dug into my wrists and hurt, not to mention the annoyance of having two extra things on my lap. The ones without padding suck--they're always too low and hard. The laptop "tables" (they really look like serving trays for breakfast in bed) are high enough but take up too much room and end up leaving me feel trapped, like a toddler in a high chair. No thanks! Then I found this gem...The Mavocraft is high enough and, surprisingly, light. I don't have to crane my neck and am not getting headaches (no hunchback for me, yay!). The squishy beanbag part that sits on your lap is soft and comfortable, and just as importantly, doesn't cause a heat buildup as one might expect (I'm hot-natured so that is a necessity!). There are, however, a few things to note...First, the top is slippery. Other people have noted that as well, but I have found a solution to this that will not only keep your laptop from shooting across the room like a hockey puck across the room, it will also help keep your laptop cool by creating a bit of space between it and the desk. How, you might ask? Easy. Pick up a pack of rubber bumpers/feet and stick them on the laptop desk--the desk, not your laptop. I bought two of these desks and two different kinds of bumpers. The ones in the pic are, in my opinion, too low, so I ordered a pack of Sound Addicted Subble 1.8 '' (8 Pack) Isolation Feet that are 1-inch high. They work much better, so now I'm left puzzling out how to remove the ones in the pic, which work but are lower (0.3-inches).If the manufacturer is reading this, I highly suggest you guys adding bumpers like these to the desk. They aren't too expensive and would really make this thing a perfect laptop desk. The feet/bumpers need to be at least half an inch high, though, and are really best at 1-inch. That would offer the best cooling and also be high enough to deal with laptops with the "hinging" feature on the lid (where it pushes the body up to supposedly help with cooling). The only other possible problem you may have with this laptop is the size. I have a 14-inch Asus and it fits well on the desk (as shown in the third picture). A 15.6-inch should fit, but if you have a 17-inch, you can forget it unless you don't mind part of the laptop hanging off.So, if you have a 15.6-inch laptop or smaller, and are willing to shell out another $10-15 for bumper feet (you can probably get them cheaper), then this laptop desk is perfect. Trust me, I have two of them. And I'm thinking of buying a third to keep just in case something happens to the two I have!

Perfect height, adjustable cushion
This lap desk is a perfect height to use a laptop in bed or reclined on the couch. The cushion has just enough give to it that you can shape it a bit to adjust to however you're sitting. The surface is a bit slippery and doesn't have much of a lip to keep things from sliding off. I added 4 stick-on rubber dots to keep my laptop from sliding off. It works great and is exactly what I was looking for.

Practical and Pretty
I like this item, I do. The height of the pillow is perfect and it is oh-so-comfortable even for long work sessions. The 4-star rating is due to 2 factors: 1: it is not large. I use a 13” MacBook Air and there is absolutely no room for anything else on top of this lap desk. 2: the plastic side seems extraordinarily brittle, I can tell it will require safekeeping. Everything else about this product is great!

SO PERFECT FOR MY NEEDS!!!!!!!! V HAPPY!!!
OK I'm super obsessive with reviewing things before purchasing so I painstakingly combed through every type of lap desk in the world....and decided to go with this one because:I don't need a cell phone slot or a cupholder or a mouse tray, I don't need a carry handle.I wanted something super squishy that would conform to my lap, as I prefer to sit "cross cross" on my couch to work.I wanted something high enough that would actually make a difference in the height of my laptop. And something small because I don't need a whopping massive "thing" laying around my house, and I wanted it to be portable to fit in a large tote or backpack. And I wanted something with some storage to keep my laptop charger and dongles, maybe a USB and a pen, etc.AND I'M SO HAPPY.This is just as described. Super sturdy plastic top (that won't warp like a bamboo top or wood top!!!) and plenty of mini-styprophone beads. and yes the pillow is actually comfortable :)PLUS IT HAS A POCKET!!!!! Yes!!!The zipper reveals a white Pocket area that you can store little things like pens or laptop charger/cable/dongles with ease. The white fabric inside the pocket is super stretchy and the limit of the pocket is only due to the seams of the white fabric. I wish I could above my whole laptop in there. Some people complained about the smell but it really was not an issue for me, and I am super nose sensitive. Some people also complained the top is slippery and yes, it's like an old fashioned dining buffet tray. There is a teeny tiny lip on the edge that will keep some things from rolling off - maybe - but not super secure on the edges of you need that. Personally my laptop has 2 bars of grip built-in and it is totally fine and not slipping or annoying. The ONLY drawback so far is that the fabric cover is not removable SO, I am going to make my own cover with elastic so that it grips onto the pillow where the pillow meets the top. If I make it snug enough I think it will be perfect. To the cover, I might also add additional sewn-in pockets or a carry handle of some sort. (But that is super optional bc I really don't need those things )I will try to add a bunch of pictures.I HOPE THIS HELPS and I actually may buy 1-2 more to have on hand in case they stop selling this one lol. Seriously.

It’s okay, but…
Well first, the box looked like it had been through WWII when it arrived, and was totally falling apart, but I suspect that’s a problem with UPS. However, the cushion was in good shape, as was the plastic table portion. I like the size and weight, though it could be a little bigger. The cushion is a micro bead pillow and is very nice. The table part is plastic and very slippery despite being textured, and I’m constantly in fear of my MacBook Air sliding off because there is no grip at all. I’m going to have to put some sort of pad on the table area to make it less slippery. I would still but this regardless of the negative aspects, but recommend anyone who does, be prepared to have a plan in place to increase the grip on their devices. Speaking of devices, I use this with both my 13” MacBook Air and my 12.9” iPad Pro, and they both fit within the workspace, but just barely. If you have a bigger laptop, you might want to consider a different lap table.
