Q: sapphire crystal --do all seiko watches have this face?

I don't know. But most likely not. I evidently knocked the watch on something while walking and have a crack in the face, but is not easily noticed and watch still looks great. For automatic movement, this watch keeps very good time and I remain VERY confident with Seiko watches, particularly when price/quality are concerned. Will not hesitate to purchase another Seiko 5 watch when time comes to do so.

Q: is the water resistant depth really 100m 330ft? other website said its only 99ft 30m

I would not bet on a depth of 330 ft. for this kind of watch. I think that the intent is for a good daily wear watch that is pretty accurate, looks good and can be worn while swimming. Very few folks ever get to 330 ft. in any case. When doing so, they will need to buy a diving watch that will be a great deal more expensive than this one. I wear this daily and have enjoyed it. Seiko is pretty much "bullet proof".

Q: Is it possible to change the band if so what size should I get? couldn't find 8.9mm.. is that accurate?

My wrist is rather thin, I removed 2 links from the band, so it fits perfectly.

Q: how do you get extra links for the band to make it longer?

I didn’t and if I were you I would send this watch back while you could because mine would loose time from the day I got it and I’m a very active person. Then all off a sudden one day I heard something inside the watch like it had all come apart and that was it it never worked again. Go with eco drive
