Fast and Easy
This sealant is easy to use in a caulking gun. It is easy to smooth and cleans up quickly. I am confident and happy the cracks in my fireplace bricks are sealed for the season.

Amazing
I cannot speak to it's fire rating as we have not had a fire but this product's consistency, spreadablility and use of fiber in the mix creates the perfect product for us. We use it to fill gaps in a woodstove. And also spread on wood that is near a stove vent pipe. It does not get super hot but we take all precautions. This goes on good with gloved fingers, a good thickness and the fibers keep it where you put it.

This is the right stuff to use to restore a wall's fire rating.
This is the stuff. When you're installing conduit or otherwise penetrating a fire-rated wall, follow the instructions and seal around the conduit to the right width and depth, and you'll restore that wall's fire rating. Don't just squirt this stuff out of a caulking gun and think you've accomplished anything. That's not how it works; read up on it, watch some videos, and use it the way it's intended. It's the industry standard for a reason.
