SEIKO Arched Wall Clock with Pendulum and Dual Chimes

Very nice clock. Well made and works well. The chime is beautiful.

I was looking for a mechanical wall clock to replace the one that died. It was beautiful, but it’s “chime” was just a single metal rod with an unpleasant tone. I wanted to avoid electronic clocks because typically chimes sounded like a poor cassette tape recording of chimes from a real clock. But this one was perfect in wood tone, style, and chime sound. My home is a craftsman/modern blend. Oak floors and straight lines in doorways, windows, and the limited trim. Painted Kilim beige and white wood work. Kitchen and family room are stained oak in a medium tone. This clock is perfect, and sounds nice. Set the volume low, and off during nighttime hours. I’m very pleased so far.

A very fine clock! Understated in appearance. Chimes don't sound at night when you are sleeping. Keeps good time. Happy to have this product - would make a very fine gift.

I've had this for a few months now, and I really like it. Setting the time, chime, and quiet period is very easy - just follow the instructions, and it works every time. The look and finish is great, and the chimes sound very nice. The only knock against this thing is the mounting hardware is terrible. Specifically, if one wants to mount this to the wall where a stud is, the included screws are far too short to penetrate the stud through the drywall. They're 0.5in long, which means they only penetrate the drywall. It's also impossible to find longer versions of these small diameter screws, so it's either - a) rely on the drywall to hold the clock, or b) use a different mount altogether. I went with the first choice, because I'm lazy, and so far so good. The clock is not very heavy - maybe a few pounds.

Purchased as a present. Easy to set and to turn chimes on and off and keeps very good time. Highly recommended.

I liked the look and sound of this clock. The problem was every time the pendulum swung it made a noise. I had this clock in my bedroom and the sound was most annoying just as a ticking clock would be. Returned it and got another Seiko wall clock that does not do this.

Put in battery, set time and hang the clock. Other than adjusting chimes, which consists of a couple button selections. Very easy to operate. Leveling is a last good step. A small bubble level makes for quick level.

I purchased this to replace a similar wall clock that broke. The clock is attractive and well made. Two different chime modes can be selected. Chimes can be set for 24 hour, quiet at night and off. Volume is adjustable. Instructions are not very clear. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase.

SEIKO genuine product. Good quality watch. Comes with LR14 L70 battery which can last for 11-12 months. 2-Chime selector, AM-PM setting (chime can be silenced between 23:00 and 5:45), chime volume setting and pendulum.

The packaging could've been better, considering it was a fragile item.
