Perfect fit for Nova Chuck and Laguna Lathe
I love it when a plan comes together and this adapter was a perfect fit. A little expensive but the chuck is way more and totally useless without this adapter

Shortens the reach and works great.
So many adapters are basically internal threads than external threads instead of the internal threats being just right on top of the external threads, which really worked out perfect to go from a 1 inch eight threads to a one and a quarter inch eight threads on my leave with a one and a quarter inch eight thread spindle.

Just what I needed
Realized I needed this part after buying a nova supernova chuck. Rather than going back to the store I just ordered online and it came to my house in the next few days, exactly what I needed. No issues with the part, works great on my nova 1624 lathe. Used the informative table that came with my chuck to figure out what size of threaded chuck adapter I needed.

Works great on big Jet lathe!
The local High School building trades classes got a new lathe. This adapter lets me use Super Nova chuck on it for only a minor cost. We volunteer to teach Woodturning there...
