First of all, this was way better quality than I expected for the price (roughly 1/3rd - 1/2 the 'name brand' version). I mean, it's plastic, but it's good quality, sturdy plastic that doesn't feel fragile. It was also much 'smoother' and less noisy than I expected. My only minor complaint about the looks/construction (and this is definitely a "me" thing) is the colour. This machine looks exactly like something you'd expect to see in a 6 year old, pigtailed, little girl's bedroom. As a 45 year old male power-lifter I know I'm absolutely not the target demographic for a machine like this, but I get made fun of enough for liking to knit without using a machine that looks like Barbie's hot tub. The instructions that come with the machine are a little lacking, you get a leaflet with some absolute basics that don't explain things very well, but it also comes with a QR code to video instructions.... but at the end of the day, it's a circular knitting machine. Type that into Youtube and you'll find literally hundreds of thousands of videos explaining everything you could ever want to know. You get everything you need in the box. I already had tapestry needles and crochet hooks anyway, but was pleasantly surprised to see they were also included with the machine. You even get a screwdriver to attach the legs. You also get some yarn with the machine, but this is really just to try the machine out with or use as 'waste yarn' for casting on and off. It's a nice bonus, but not enough to really make anything. Now, one thing I will say is that if you do order this, spend an hour or two watching a few youtube tutorials while you're waiting for it to arrive. Despite many years experience with hand-knitting, my first few attempts resulted in an absolute mess of dropped stitches....but the problem was 100% me, not the machine. Once I had it dialled in and figured out where I was going wrong, it was plain sailing. Even with my failed attempts (and the time it took to unravel the abominations I had created and start over), I went from literally zero machine knitting experience to a multicoloured, striped beanie I'd happily wear in about 3 hours. Now I know what I'm doing I could probably get that down to about 30 minutes. Basically, If knitting interests you in any way, whether you're an experienced hand-knitter or absolute zero-experience beginner....I can't recommend this machine enough. It's incredibly cheap, very well made and will either usher you through the door into the hobby, or significantly speed up aspects of you projects.

Brilliant piece of equipment, can't knit by hand any more so this knitting machine is great for me to continue knitting. Can't believe how easy it is to use and there's plenty of straightforward videos to watch on YouTube how to use and make things. So pleased with my purchase, it is well made and easy to use, can't stop making things, it's so quick. Picture is my first jumper, but I have even improved since making that one and only had it a few weeks. Update - I found out that if your machine drops stitches it's because the tension is too loose, found this to be great advise and hardly drop stitches now.

I love this knitting machine. It’s so easy to use and within an hour I’d knitted a large pumpkin piece for autumn. The accessories given are really handy as well. Great quality and works well.

Worked well to start but have made 10 tubes at 100 rows each and it is dropping stitches and really worn out, do not buy if wanting a machine that you will want to use more then that. Pity as I was making twiddle mitts for dementia patients. Update - communication with seller very good and refund sorted,

Item doesn’t work properly so i requested a refund on the 9th February and was told by email to package up item and I would be collected on 10th of February which it still hasn’t I am very disappointed and have been left out of pocket as had to buy a different machine as it was for my daughters birthday so would really appreciate it someone could get back to me to arrange a refund many thanks

Fast shipping, but only 4 stars because the handle was broken already when I opened the box. The machine has two cracks in it, where oil from the machine leaks through one of them. But other than that the machine works. I've made two beanies so far.

La máquina funciona muy bien. Puedes tener el gorro hecho en 1 hora con el doblez de la frente y su pompón. Al principio cuesta un poco pillarle el truco, pero una vez q lo haces varias veces, corres un montón. Y luego al acabar, hay q tener cuidado de q no se te escapen los puntos. Eso si, aviso, q de vez en cuando esta durillo de girar y q se hacen brazos jaja, tendréis q descansar cada X giros para q no os duela el hombro. Nosotros estamos muy contentos con la máquina.

Diese Strickmühle ist wirklich super. Sie enthält sowohl einen Garn-Spanner als auch einen Reihenzähler. Dazu enthält sie im Gegensatz zu teureren Modellen 48 Nadeln statt 46. Ich bin sehr begeistert von dieser wirklich günstigen Maschine. Bei der Wahl geeigneter Garne läuft sie super gleichmäßig und erzeugt ein sehr schönes Strickbild. Beim Kurbeln verdreht sich häufig der unten herauskommende Strickschlauch. Dies lässt sich sehr effizient verhindern, wenn der Strickschlauch vorsichtig nach oben gezogen und eingerollt wird. Das ist auch auf meinem Foto zu sehen. Dann lässt sich ohne ständiges Verdrehen des Strickschlauches sehr einfach weiter stricken. Alles in allem ein tolles Gerät, mit dem ich sehr gerne arbeite und schon viele hübsche Dinge angefertigt habe. Ich würde diese Strickmühle immer wieder kaufen.
