I MISS YOU A 1ST LOOK AT DEATH

This book explains death in a very straight forward, yet compassionate manner. It was perfect for my 3.5 year old.

We suddenly lost both my parents to a car accident. My great-neice, a very communicative and vocal 8 year old spoke a lot about missing Oma and Opa, but we weren’t always certain we acknowledged her feelings as well as could be done. The picture on the front cover is a perfect visual of empty cosy chairs and the words help explain that any feelings are normal. Thinking & speaking about our lost loved ones helps tremendously.

This is a wonderful simple book to allow children to explore ways to understand death.

Excelente para trabajar el tema de la muerte con niños pequeños. Tanto en psicoterapia como desde la familia. Fácil de leer, muy claro y abierto a la diversidad religiosa.

Great for neurodivergent children who need clear explanations. Straightforward but not harsh. Great book, highly recommend.
