I bought this for my craft room. It works great. Pretty bright. Just what I was looking for exactly.

I had a tabletop model my wife bought 14 years ago . It died last week … found this one and the price was right . Ok hear me out… #1 pull all your parts out of packages . There are 3 tube sections each are threaded with 1 has a not threaded end a little hole on the side that’s the bottom piece . The tubes are NF ( fine threaded ) which is better than NC ( course ) . Get a jar of petroleum jelly or a very light oil which ever you have even a dab of cooking oil will work . Put a very light coating on the threads on all 3 pieces . Grab the top and push the wiring through the 1st piece then screw the first two tubes together . Proceed to the 3rd piece pushing wire through . The two wires will not slide through the 3 pieces already screwed together as I found so doing each piece at a time no problem . Unscrew the tiny screw on the base stub where the tube will go . Align the hole to the hole in the base stub and put the screw in there tighten down . Your done 👍🏽 After assembly I flipped it on and ohhhh yes it’s exactly what I needed a full spectrum bulb soft but bright light . I do a lot of jewelry work and I need true colors while working with setting gemstones . Having the ability to adjust the head up / down / side to side gives one extra options as to position . It sits about 4’ high so my bench and this light ( it’s a second light I have another overhead ) will be so nice plus it not taking up valuable table top space . I’m assuming if your using it for plants that will work as a substitute for sunlight for smaller plants . Yes I’d buy it for a friend it’s a quality well built light . Don’t settle for cheap non weighted base full spectrum light . You will be pleased with this purchase , Very pleased 🤠👍🏽

I will admit I was mildly disappointed in this lamp. The lamp works great and is easy to put together and the packaging was awesome. The goose neck movement is a bit stiff and doesn't move as easily as I expected. My issue is I expected it to be brighter with it saying 1500 lumen. I do like the natural daylight but it just is a tad under bright for my needs. I do crafting and need a bright light to see details. The base is heavy and keeps the lamp sturdy and in place. These will do for now until I find something else and will use these elsewhere in my home. I have been using a contractor light on a stand which is so bright it is blinding but worked well. I guess I just need to find something with a higher lumen.

Easy to assemble. Clean, white light. Wonderful for someone who has low vision.

Good product, meets expectations. The quality of the full spectrum light is good Lamp is pretty sturdy not difficult to assemble.

IF YOU EVEN THINK YOU MIGHT HAVE SEASONAL AFFECTIVE DISORDER, THIS LAMP IS A MIRACLE FIX! I have Seasonal Affective Disorder (S.A.D.) and I moved to California for the sunlight as a result. Little did I know, that my sleep disorder also comes from lack of sunlight. I had to take medication for decades, just to wake me up every morning, due to my sleep disorder. After moving to California and forgetting to take my medication a few times, I discovered that I no longer needed the medication due to the sunlight I was getting! However, I still needed to get the sunlight every day, or my sleep disorder and SAD would soon take over. If you have Seasonal Affective Disorder or find yourself getting tired or depressed when you don’t get enough sunshine, I highly recommend this miracle lamp that has kept me happy now for years. I now live in an area where I don’t get outside. It’s too hot here and I don’t feel safe walking alone here. This lamp is my miracle! I have used MANY seasonal affective disorder lamps in my life and none of them really worked like they should. This one does! All I needed was one lamp and it is in my living room, about half way between me and the TV, near the wall, but I tilt it so the light is directly facing the chair where I sit. It really helps to lighten up the entire room. It’s a very cheerful light for everyone and doesn’t look at all out of the ordinary. BE CERTAIN TO GET THE 6400K DAYLIGHT BULB! The reason I’m mentioning this today, is that the bulb burned out (after two years) and I had to replace it this week. I got it the next day from Amazon, but how terrible I felt in the day and ½ I had to wait to get the bulb! I’d totally forgotten how extremely important this is for my mental health and my physical health. I felt absolutely HORRIBLE without it! So, if you have issues like mine, this could be your miracle lamp. I bought it on Amazon and the replacement bulb was only about $10 and lasts two years. REMEMBER – BE SURE TO GET THE 6400K DAYLIGHT BULB!!! Regular light bulbs that say “Daylight” also help a lot, and I use them everywhere in my house. You might have to search for a while to find “Daylight” light bulbs, but they are in lots of places including Amazon. This lamp though, is absolutely fabulous. I call it my miracle lamp!

I mean, it's a good, solid, reliable, decent, functioning lamp. And, my buyer's remorse should be buyer's stupidity because my complaint is my own fault for not reading this lamp is "full sun, white light". I got it for better lighting while I work on mosaics. The tiny pieces of my mosaics come in many colors. Alas, the awful LED-glaring, white light makes it harder rather than easier to see the subtle but huge differences in color. This renders it useless for my use case. It sits in the corner of the room never used. I just can't adapt to this new LED white neon lighting. Instant migraine. I miss the days of candescent bulbs. They never lasted long but their warm yellow glow is like a hug from home sweet home.
