Heavy duty holders
Good stout label holders for 3/4" bookshelves. These holders are really heavy gauge plastic and are not likely to crack over time or break on installation. They are six inches long (which seems a bit of overkill!) but have a very polished, library-like look. Highly recommended. They come with white paper labels, but look better with a beige, parchment paper to throttle back the stark look of white paper on the shelf edge.

Shelf label holder
Although the holder is somewhat hard to install, it takes a bit of effort to spread it to put on the shelf. It will mostly depend on how thick the shelf is, the thinner the easier to put on. I found it to be very nice so that all items on the shelf can be identified without moving things around.
