It's a perfect snapshot of life as a young adult and the ...
This book is incredible. The poetry is so profound, yet so effortless at the same time... It's a perfect snapshot of life as a young adult and the reminiscing it entails. It touches any parts of you relating to troubled episodes of love, and love, and insecurity, but almost forgiving you for them, without taking you back to that dark time you may have endured. Clementine narrates in an extraordinary way episodes that are not always so, and this book is a ode to vulnerability, youth, love, loss, and being a bit disoriented, too. One of my favorites.

Some of the poems even made me cry and as a whole I thought the collection was beautiful.
I'll be honest and start off with saying that I don't read poems very often and I know next to nothing about poetry. Now that that's out of the way I have to say that this was one of the most moving books I've read. I sat down and read all the poems in this book in one night. Even when the topic was something I couldn't relate to I still felt touched. Some of the poems even made me cry and as a whole I thought the collection was beautiful.

A voice for more than just our generation
Von Radics is a phenomenal writer who writes with such clarity and emotion. Her material is incredibly relatable for all women, not simply her fellow Millennials. A fun and easy read, I would recommend this book to everyone with even the slightest interest in poetry. Make sure to check out "Mermaid" on page 50 which is sure to resonate with all struggling with disability. Von Radics will surely be recognised later in life for her outstanding first collection of poems.

Finished in half a day.
First book of poetry that I finished in half a day. This was a first run through, not sure why I was rushing, but it felt like I couldn't stop turning the pages. Poetry should be more like wading into the pond but this felt like a river carrying me. I got pelted by her downpour, I'm drenched, but unrepentant.

Wish it was longer
I recently started reading poetry again, and this is the first book I picked up. Honestly, I wish it wasn't because now I want all books to be like this one. I was so amazed at all of the poems, I found myself sending pictures to friends with the caption "READ THIS". It was an amazing book, I wish it was longer š

Some good poems
There are some great poems in this book. There are some good ones too. And then there are a lot I could not find a way to attach to.

Oh Clementine...
Iāve seen Clementine Von Radics in person along with Sabrina Benaim. If you havenāt checked out either poet, you need to. For anyone struggling with depression, anxiety, love lost, love won, growth, healing, and the magic of finding yourself alive.
