First off, this thing is great! I have been using a portable battery bank while at work, as I have to use my phone quite a bit for emails, business, etc. I am still using an older phone with a poor battery life. My portable battery bank was always in my pocket with a charging cord going to my phone when needed, a bit cumbersome if you ever use one of them. It quit working after about a month, very disappointed in that. I heard from a coworker about these battery cases and thought I would give it a try. I was afraid the case would be really bulky as I hadn’t seen one in person prior to purchase. But actually, this case has a pretty low profile and only about 1/8” thicker than my previous case, which was very slim. The only noticeable difference is the weight, which does wear on my wrist if I hold it for long periods. However, all that is to be expected when it has a battery bank in it. As for charging capacity, I have never ran it down no matter how many charges I do within the day. The case still shows four lights and will charge the phone back up with the push of a button. I plan on upgrading my phone within the next year and you can bet I’ll be getting another one of these battery case for it as well.

I love this case. It protects the phone really well and even after 6 months it still quickly charges the phone from 0 to %100. I’ve dropped it a few times, and my kids have also dropped it many times when playing games on it. And yet despite all the abuse, the phone and case still work perfectly. I should mention that I do have a very inexpensive screen protector on the phone (which I’ve had to replace many times), but whenever I’ve dropped the phone, the screen protector usually only chips a little bit and sometimes not at all, as the case does a pretty good job of protecting it. And thought I’ve gone through several inexpensive screen protectors ($1-$3), Ive never had to replace the phone’s LCD screen. I replace this case about every six months, however that’s only because the bottom back corners start to wear a little and because of all the scrapes and scratches that hve collected on it b/c it’s been dropped so many times. I‘ve owned many of these rechargeable cases and this one is the best by far. All of the other ones either broke, or just stopped working after a month or two.

This phone case charger is very disappointing! My husband had one like it for his old phone and it worked great. This one crapped out and wouldn’t charge his phone after an hour into his 100 mile trail running race. The blue lights were on and it was fully charged, but as soon as his phone went into sleep mode the lights went off and it stopped charging. Luckily it was a supported race, otherwise this could’ve been a major safety issue. We tested it again on my phone and had the same disappointing result. Unfortunately for us the window to return was up yesterday. He leaves for a multiple day Grand Canyon trip at the end of the week and we have to spend extra to, hopefully, buy a charging case that actually works. DO NOT BUY THIS CASE!! Hoping the manufacturer contacts us ASAP to replace their faulty equipment, otherwise the rating is a 1. (Would be a zero if that was possible.)

Recently, my iPhone 6S would die after regular use. Before purchasing this case, I thought I was doomed to having my phone die by noon everyday. What a lifesaver this case is! I use it every single day and turn the case to "on" about 3 times a day to recharge my phone. The reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the charger port is very weak and does not lock in with the charging cable so plugging it into the wall or into my car is a hassle as the chord just falls right out. It wasn't always like this, but after about 1 month of having it, this issue began. I also was expecting this case to be a little thinner, it's not super bulky but it is bulky enough where you lose the sleekness and slimness aesthetic of the phone. With the charging case, I have a hard time fitting my phone into pocket books, wallets, or bags, that have pockets just for phones because the bags are made with the assumption that your iPhone is thin. Outside of these two things, I wouldn't be able to use my phone for more than an hour straight without this charger case. This case is what's holding me over while waiting for the new iPhone to come out (hopefully better battery). Definitely get this case if you're struggling with battery! I would recommend using it for a short time period before getting a new phone.

I purchased this because my iphone battery is flaky, for $20 I thought it would be a way to delay the enivitable replacement of my iphone 8 battery. It is quite heavy which wouldn't be a problem but the fact that it shuts off charging before the phone is back to 100% charge is terrible. I've purchased these types of phone banks before and they did exactly as expected (they charged the phone back to 100% at the expense of their batteries which I expected of this, it is not the case, the "recharge" part of this cuts out after a short period of time and the phone never gets fully recharged ?? I don't understand why it cuts out, there is no reason to have this heavy "boat anchor" other than to keep your phone at 100% charge.. enough said .. bad engineering.
