Is this a "universal" telephone cord -- that is, does it work with all telephones or just cisco phones? (one of the reviewers indicated a problem.)

Pretty much all handset cords are universal. This is just advertised as a cisco cord because the color matches cisco phones. What problem was the "reviewer" having?
