Confusing Measurements
Well done. Beautiful, healthy, simple recipes with easy to find ingredients. Plenty here for meat eaters or vegetarians. Ingredients are easily found in a "regular" grocery store for the most part with a few items you may have to seek out in a Whole Foods or specialty store (coconut oil, haloumi cheese, maca powder, nori sheets, spirulina...depending on which recipes you run with). Pictures are nice, even in this e-version in black and white (on my device). Recipe sections are well thought out. I especially enjoyed the sections on breakfast and life force foods, but snacks, lunch and dinner have great options too. You'll never run out of healthy recipes with this book.My only issue is with measurements in various recipes. Some recipes have both US standard and metric measurements for different items in one recipe (e.g. "Jonny Chow": whey protein is in grams, everything else in cups/tbsps, etc. Haloumi Salad also mixes measurement devices with tbsp and grams.) Some recipes are only written in US standard (e.g. Breakfast Muesli) and others are completely listed in metric (Salade Nicoise - all in grams). Not sure why you wouldn't write the entire book with just one measurement standard. A bit frustrating when trying to sort out a meal. Also, I had never heard of "cos lettuce." In some places it is listed just as cos lettuce and in others: "cos lettuce (romaine)". Lemon juice is listed twice in the Gabrielicious mayonnaise recipe: "one tablespoon lemon juice" and "one tablespoon OF lemon juice" might make for a tart flavor and this recipe is important to many of the other recipes; I think it's a typo.Book substance and recipes are 5 stars. Editing gets a 2-3 rating. Still, in my opinion, the book is well worth purchasing.

Fantastic recipes!
I've made a number of these recipes and they really are fantastic. I've got a lot of experience in the kitchen and this book has been well thought out for easy execution. If you understand Jons' basic big three principles you will find these meals incredible for controlling insulin spikes and false hunger as well as getting your body into fat burning mode. I will also say a lot of these meals are even 'elegant' so they work for any occasion.

Worth every penny.
EXCELLENT BOOK. Easy to read large print, gorgeous photos. This is a queen sized, hardbound book that will look gorgeous in your kitchen. Recipes are delicious and ultra nutritious . Jon Gabriel is an amazing man who did a tremendous amount of research on weight loss. I have the utmost respect for him. Be sure to read his first book The Gabriel Method as a companion to this. The book arrived in a timely manner in perfect condition.

Good recipes well presented.
Some really good recipes, but I am not so keen on using processed foods like protein powders and sugar substitutes. But it works for him and I am sure it will work for me.

A fabulous find!!!
My husband and I are both very good cooks and have used a multitude of cookbooks over the years. We cannot believe how much we love the recipes in this book!!!!! They are healthy but also completely delicious! When our two daughters get home from college we want to make some of his meals for them, but we are having a hard time choosing our top favorites. Thus far we have made about 15 of the recipes with only one that we did not love - a faux Key Lime Pie (sorry, but it really tasted too much like avocados). I highly, highly recommend this book for anyone, whether or not you are trying to eat healthy.

Companion recipe book to his weight loss book
I bought this after reading The Gabriel Method, which is an awesome non-diet weight loss book. This is a good collection of lower carb recipes that go nicely with his way of eating (closely resembles paleo, but with dairy). I like many of the breakfasts and the omelet pizza was really good and fun to eat. With that said, there aren't really any recipes that I would just rave about and share with friends, but just solid daily meals. I am used to eating a paleo diet so none of the ingredients seemed too crazy to me. His personal story and transformation are reason enough to at least try this way of eating.

Disappointing - sending it back
The book is beautiful with amazing photos but that’s end of my praises. It said that the recipes all use easy to purchase ingredients. Where do I find haloumi cheese, muscles, or kangaroo in northern Minnesota? Also, a lot of fresh salmon. Their idea of prep time and mine are totally different. It takes much longer than they say . The portions are minuscule. 1/4 cup Goat cheese and hazel nuts for a snack. This is not normal food, at least not at my grocery store or on my table.

Very ordinary recipes
Not bad but I guess I was expecting more entrees. Recipes don't have much depth of flavour that could have been achieved with more seasoning or spices.Haven't lost any weight on this program either. Maybe portions are too large?

Great Food Ideas
The Gabriel Method Recipe Book Kindle Edition is wonderful and full of sensible yet delicious recipes. My only moan is that it is not also available as a printed book - which I would find easier to refer to when cooking. But this does not detract from the very real help that the book offers. Thank you Jon!

Would be better in print
Recipe books on Kindle are probably not ideal - one needs to be able to flick backwards and forwards more readily but nevertheless there are some very helpful recipes in the book and I've found some favourites. The whole Gabriel Method is an excellent approach for many conditions, not just obesity and probably ought to be available on the National Health!

Utterly disappointing
I felt utterly disappointed by this book. It felt dull and unimaginative both in presentation and content. A pity because i love the Gabriel method.
