We spent a lot of time deciding on a remote controlcar but ultimately settled on this.As described, the car arrived with a spare battery and the red color we indicated.Observations: remote has better range than I expected. Battery life was about 10 minutes on a full charge. We could hit 10-15MPH speeds on a smooth, level surface. The colored panels on the car are easily removable with a screwdriver, allowing for a bit of customizationOne thing to note- the box containing the car was different than the contents. We were worried we bought the wrong product but noticed on one side of the box, there were different models listed. There was a sticker next to the model we were expecting. Opening the box revealed exactly that.

Bought this for my 5 1/2 year old nephew for Christmas. He loved it, the controls were simple enough for him to pick up very quickly. The batteries came with enough charge for him to figure it out and play with it for a little bit right away. Wish they had been fully charged but I understand that is not realistic. Overall, very pleased; seems well built and sturdy enough to drive through the backyard, not just on pavement
