Warranty honored>
I purchased this item in May, 2022 and it lasted for 18 months. It became brittle and was vulnerable to holes and it ripped down the center lengthwise. I contacted supplier and they honored the warranty. It took only 3 days to resolve and this was extremely satisfactory. Only had to pay for shipping and handling>

Warms Water and Holds Temp Very Well
This is my second time purchasing this clear, heavy weight solar cover. I highly recommend it. I've used the blue covers; they're OK. This cover is the best by far! It's thick, so it doesn't tear easily. The cells hold up well, they don't crack open as soon as the lighter weight covers. Because they're intact, they hold heat. It's the end of September; the temps have been pretty steady in the 70s, with a day or so above or below. We're still using the pool. The water temp hovers around 80°We don't need a heater to enjoy the pool into early October.

DONT BUY (This product is garbage)
This product is garbage. If I could have given no star for this product I would have. I spent a lot of time reading reviews for this product and others this one offered a 7 year warranty (sounds to good to be true? It is) it also guaranteed that it would stand up to the UV rays, (which is exactly what I was looking for already knowing our sun is very harsh on things) so after hours & hours of reserch I went with this product because of the amazing warranty. Well DON'T be FOOLED like we were.In the description it talks about if you need to cut to resize to fit your pool don't worry it will still be covered under warranty but it says nothing about needing to take pictures if product doesn't hold up like they say. Ours stared falling apart after just a couple of months use at first the bubbles starting falling into the water so we were having to net them trying to keep them from going into the filter then the whole thing starting getting brittle. Mind you we did not cover the pool every day because we didn't need it on the warm days (and most of our summer is warm) so it stayed rolled up out of the water. When we were putting the pool up for the season that is when we realized how bad this solar cover really was definitley not able to use again and had to throw it straight into the trash. Once I finally got ahold of the selling company she told me they needed pictures before they can determine if they will replace the product and then she started making comments like some consumers don't take care of their product like putting in to much chemicals when I assured her that my husband tested our water often and knows what he is doing with the chemicals and has for years (now I am thinking they are going to just find me at fault no matter what). I then asked if I could get a refund because I would not want to go through all that trouble again with a product that just falls apart and causes me extra work they said the most they could do is ship me another one. I told her no thank you it is garbage they are selling. I very rarely complain about what I buy if it doesn't work but I don't want to see someone else waist their money or time on this product I also don't see how others gave more than 1 star unless they reviewed within a couple of weeks after using this product. Sorry I don't have photos to attach it was falling apart so bad we put it straight into the garbage can and didn't think to take any photos. AGAIN SAVE YOUR MONEY AND TIME.

Not sure I can tell the difference between my old 1600 and this new 2600
Not sure I can tell the difference between my old 1600 and this new 2600 (gauge or thickness?) as of 29APR2023..In the last two years I had to buy the 1600 yearly since they broke down from the sun and chemicals. Since these are designed to be out in the sun and chemicals, you'd think they would use an appropriate plastic formula to make them last. I'd pay doinle for one that lasted five years to avoid buying new ones yearly and having to trim them and attach them to my roller..Hoping this 2600 lasts at least two seasons. I started using a plastic cover about mid-season last year to protect the cover from sun when it is on the roller. Be sure to use LOOSE bungee cords (mine were too tight and the pressure managed to cut through about 3/4 of the length of the cover)..In the early 2000's I owned a home for seven years with an inground pool and I do not recall replacong that cover. Probably made in America by smart chemical engineers.

So far so good
Seems to work well so far. It has a full Michigan Pool season of use now. Still holding up. Crossing my fingers for next year.

Clear cover heats so much better
Clear solar cover is the way to go if you don't like swimming in cold water. Heated better than the heavier silver color I had and better than blue according to my friends. I knew this but couldn't get a clear one locally when I purchased the silver one. Silver one heated the top 12 inches and it was cold anything deeper than that. Clear cover heated all the way to the bottom in 2 days. We will swim an additional 2 months as we had in the past.
