NTA2335 Battery Replacement Compatible with Logitech mm50 S-0173A (2nd Generation) Portable Speaker System for iPod

The battery in my Logitech mm50 iPhone sound bar had died. This was no cheap sound bar, and I really wanted to be able to keep the portability of it. Luckily, after some lengthly research, I found a reputable dealer on Amazon that sells a replacement battery. Extremely easy to replace and works wonderfully.

I purchased this battery to replace the rechargeable battery in an old Logitech wireless speaker. Easy to replace and the speaker works again. I would purchase this product in the future if needed.

I liked my portable logitech ipod speakers, so when the battery went dead, I ordered this unit to replace it. The unit lasted about a month with the new battery, before it went dead. Won't charge, or play. Now in all fairness, maybe it's something in the electronics of the portable speakers that failed, so it might not be the battery. But the electronics worked good for years, so what's the chance of something electronic failing, just a month after putting this battery in? I'm guessing it's a 95% chance that this battery lasted a month, then died. My suggestion, if your logitec portable speakers that use this battery fails, just put the money into a new mini-speaker, don't waste it on this battery.

I had seen other comments about the connector being of the wrong type, what I noticed was that the new battery was wired in a different polarity than my original battery (i'm not sure which generation of the Logitech I have). So, I had to re-wire the connector and just used the old connector from the old battery. The speaker now works fine and I'm back to 7 - 8 hours of play time, so that part is good, but buyers should be aware and check both the polarity and connector type before trying to install this.

I replaced the old battery which only lasted one song when unplugged. Now with the new battery it lasts one CD or about 45 minutes. It is an improvement, but I remember buyIng this speaker new with the original battery lasting longer than just one cd album! pros battery life lasts longer cons battery life not as good as original battery when I first bought it

The battery was an exact fit for my iPod player and allowed me to use it without a power adapter again. I didn't give it 5 stars because the charge doesn't seem to last as long as the original battery that cam with the unit, but I'm happy to have the cordless functionality back.

This battery restored the Logitech speakers to full functionality. Easy and quick installation.

Had to shave off one edge of connector with razor blade to make it fit in the receptacle. This is because logitech changed receptacles sometime in production. It was no big deal. Battery holds charge like it was new.
