I can’t speak happily enough of this lovely 14in chain. It’s just what I wanted as a choker length and beautifully adds to my layering style. There’s a lot of confusion and misinformation circulating among the reviews for KoolJewelery pieces like this one. Firstly this seller is very communicative and so courteous! Simply ask a question or present an inquiry and you will have your answer. The *F* hallmark is the maker’s mark for Fremada - it is indeed 14k solid gold as already clearly stated by the seller. Gold fill would have a *GF* stamp. Furthermore, the value for this chain was unbeatable. I saw similar pieces for ~$15 more on eBay (granted the weight was slightly heavier); it’s just really competitive with the free Prime shipping and it arrived a day earlier than expected! I’m not sure why the negative reviews are prevalent with these pieces: the chain is dainty yet high quality and therefore durable, I had no problem using the spring ring clasp. Any reviews suggesting tarnishing could be misplaced for a gold plated item rather than this one being for solid gold.Anyway, KoolJewelry aka Fremada is a reputable company that offers exquisite pieces for sale all ranging in prices. My mom gave me this cross charm when I got clean off of drugs. When I got clean, I found God again because when I was using, I felt evil around me constantly. It was very scary! I told her I wanted a cross necklace. Anyway, she gave me this cross but I needed a necklace for the charm. After I had 1 year clean time, my counselor gave me a 50.00 Amazon gift card so I thought, what better gift to buy? This is what I purchased! The day my necklace came in the mail, I was in Columbus, Ohio trying to visit my brother in ICU because he was fighting for his life. When I got home, I was distraught and sad. We had gotten bad news after bad news. I put my cross on to my new beautiful gold necklace I had received and you know what the craziest thing is? We have received nothing but good news since then. I close my eyes often throughout the day, hold my cross, and pray. This might be silly to some but this necklace came at the right time. I originally got this necklace to help with my recovery and never in a million years thought I would be using it for my brothers brain aneurysm recovery.Edit:This chain broke within a month of buying it. It’s VERY thin.

The thickness was way thinner than the photograph, it was beyond delicate, so make sure you know your measurements. The clasp was very small and difficult to work. The packaging was a small plastic bag that looked cheap. I returned the very next day, but their refunding is taking way longer than it should. dissapointing.

I purchased this delicate rose gold chain because it was reviewed as very delicate. I used it to replace a rose gold plated necklace that was turning my neck green, but was attached a beautiful rose gold plated butterfly pendant I wished to save. This chain fit the bill perfectly, albeit with some slight trickery squeezing the tiny jump ring with pliers to get it through the pendant hole. Once through the hole, it looked very beautiful. It does not turn my neck green (because it isn't plated). The other reviewer that said it is almost invisible is correct, but it does catch the light and it served my purpose is very well. Despite having to alter the jump ring which fastens to the clasp, I still don't have much of a problem putting it on by myself. If I had a similar need, I would buy this item again.

The chain is so much tinier than I had expected. It looks like a chain for a child, and I expect it will be fragile. The fasteners, both the spring lock and loop, are both so small I almost could not open the lock and fasten it to the loop. It took several awkward tries. Much too inconvenient for me. I will have to try and find something to extend the mechanisms with, so that I can manage getting it on and off.

Beautiful

This chain is nice and dainty for a small pendant. I've worn it almost everyday since I got it (about two weeks ago) and it holds up really well. Just like any dainty fine jewelry, it should be handled with care. I've slept while wearing it and haven't had a problem with it getting caught in my hair (I have long wavy hair) or being tangled. I am 5' and 100 lbs and the 14 inches is a great length for a choker. My pendant falls right between my collar bone and is visible even when wearing collared shirts (not buttoned up all the way). Chain may be thin but is still visible from far away. I definitely recommend this product if you are looking for a solid gold chain that will act as a choker at 14"
