Needed a portable working light. Got this as opposed to big name brand. It is really high quality product for its bucks. Plenty bright and out of the way. Feels nice and works great. I use it also to light up my garage, attic or basement while doing various projects, easy to hang and hook up from the surrounding objects and adjust the angle. Light weight, foldable and taking little storage space. would definitely recommend it.

Apparently there's been a design change since the reviews mentioning the inability to charge when the light is open. There's now a cutout on the piece that previously blocked the charging port. I've been able to go from completely folded to completely open without unplugging. The light is large and bright. It's a little bigger than I wanted as it turns out, because it won't hold onto the hood of a 2003 Accord. I'll have to see if I can make it grip diagonally when I'm working on it. Overall a good purchase, and glad to see the design was fixed.

If you just want to get to the meat of the issue and skip the video:Pros:-Very Portable-Very bright...and that's it.Cons:-Can't be charged while using. The charge port is in a silly location (as shown by another reviewer), but beyond that, the power brick it comes with simply isn't large enough to actually charge it AND run it at the same time. Plug it in all day and leave it on (with the hinge ajar to do so) and it won't bring the battery up more than about 10 minutes of use-Lock up mechanism is flimsy. This thing folds over on itself without my effort. I could easily see it folding in half when you didn't expect it to and denting a customer's fender. Bad, bad, bad.-Battery life is far too short. On high, it only lasts for about 2 hours.-------I worked hard to think of someone who would really like this light, and the only thing I could come up with is maybe truckers. My thought there is that a trucker wouldn't need more than 2 hours of light for most things, would have plenty of 12v power to recharge it all the time, and would appreciate its compact size and portability. Otherwise, I'd say this isn't suitable for anyone else, even at its price range. If they made a few improvements to it (which I discuss in the video), I'd be willing to try it again.

The battery life is great and very bright. I love how it extends out and its spring loaded so it holds it in place. I'm never using my corded drop light again! Works great as a portable light, under hood light, or a stand up light. I've sent the link to several of my friends and we all have one now! I would definitely recommend and even purchase another one.

Works really well and super bright. Only reason I don’t give it 5 stars is that it does not come with charging blocks for USB cords. Seller refunded a piece of price when I pointed out that the competitors do provide blocks.

Amazing light!! I am half blind in my right eye and cannot see in places with shadows. This light is amazing because surprisingly I can adjust it to see where I normally can’t without having to move a light in the way of work. Plus the customer service goes far and beyond to assist you. Buy this light

This light is awesome! It holds firm to hoods. I use it on the low setting and I get around 6 hours run time that way. The quality is very good. It allows me to get a light in the dark corners under the hood and under the car too. It also has a telescope effect so you can securely attach it to multiple places on your car. Something I'd probably spend $200+ for on the truck. You'll love this light. Worth every penny!
