Great Hand Ascender
Big fan of CT products in general, but very happy with this hand ascender. I've used the Petzl hand ascender but found the opening action of this one easier to use. Definitely a good purchase!

Comparable quality, not breaking the bank
This ascender is comparable to the big name ascenders like petzl. I don't get to rock climb as much as I'd like to, so weight isn't a factor, it is a little higher in weight, but not in price. I don't want to spend a hundred dollars on one piece of gear that I'll get to use a few times per year, when I can use a prusik or something. This ascender checks the blocks of cheap and reliable. It's UIAA, EN and CE rated and give me the warm and fuzzy I want. I like the down climb feature on the thumb piece. It's nice for just going down a few feet. Over all I'd definitely recomend. CT is a good name, the product meets all the safety standards and doesn't break the bank without compromising quality.
