He didn't like it at first, but then he has never had anything like it in 61 years. Now He can't get enough of it, he loves it. I soak the pellets in a small amount of water and mash it into a soft mixture and add it with his mixture of wild weeds. By soaking the pellets, it helps the product slide down his throat easily. I am about to buy some more and also going to buy a pot for my family members tortoises.A good filling and nourishing food, but must be accompanied with the normal wild weeds too.
