I bought 3 of these lights. The light comes with all the standard trimmings: screws to install, a universal support, a few wire nuts. The light is lower profile than I anticipated. Nonetheless, I was able to put 3 75 watt CFL's in the housing. The screws to mount the universal support to the electric box were a little less optimal IMO. They were a little too thin to grab my '70's junction box screw holes. Additionally, they were a little short for my liking. Having a slightly longer screw makes it easier. And finally, the shoulder on the screw isn't as big as I would like in relation to the hole size in the fixture. So I went to the garage and grabbed some better screws. I highly recommend this! highly! Just test the screws on the junction box holes, if they hold, run to lowes to buy the same size, just a half inch longer. It you have the same issue I had, up it in size and length. The holes in the fixture were a perfect match for the electrical boxes I was installing in, so I didn't use the universal support. I put my 2 screws in the junction box, as far out as possible. Then I used the wire nuts to connect the 3 wires, making sure to twist until the insulating sections of the wire were twisted. Now to mount, I use the worlds best know trick and stick a screw driver through the mounting plate and the insulation and put the tip on the screw. Then move the fixture up on the screw driver and viola placement and fastening is simple. Results are good. I had a darker than desired hallway, bedroom, and living room. I put 'bright white' CFL's in all of them. I upgraded from 60 watt equivalent to 75 watt in the hallway because it was still too dark. Now, I'm happy. The finish on the fixture is VERY weak. Even water marked it. I needed to get a lightly damp cloth to wipe down the marks from my wet hands. So after you wash your hands, dry them before moving onto the next one. Now that it's up, it looks great! If it gets scratched up while installed on the ceiling then I'll be out another $20. Cheap fixture, easy install, looks great!

Perfect light! I used this to replace a 1957 Nutone Radiant Ceiling Bathroom Heater in a bathroom refresh. This perfectly matched the large outside diameter of the existing ceiling hole. Great-looking light installed easily inside the large metal can the heater left behind. 3 LED bulbs (60W eq) really light up this small bathroom. The cheapest bronze offering is actually black, which is exactly what I wanted.

I gave it a 5 knowing that the bolts that were supplied were too short to fit the base. The bolts don't have to fit the threaded holes, because there are adjacent slots in the adapter plate. Two longer larger diameter bolts (or all thread) can be used, but it takes two nuts and a washer for each bolt to make a firm fit. I used all thread. Looks very nice and gives good light.

These are relatively well made fixtures and are good price for what you get. Pros: - Nice looking figures, both the oil-rubbed bronze base and the thick translucent glass globe work well together. - Three bulb capacity with 60w maximum (incandescent) - The glass globe is deep enough to fit three A21 dimmable 100w equivalent (15w) LEDs with room to spare - And I saved almost $450 in expert installation fees ($113 per fixture!?!) doing it myself Cons: - The two inch screws are too short and almost impossible to find poking through the insulation. - Not only that, but the screws and holes in the mounting bracket are a non-standard size, neither M4 nor 8-32. Thankfully, I purchased an inexpensive Dewalt combination self-tapping/die cutting bit (DWADT832) to force the holes in the bracket to 8-32 and bought 3 inch 8-32 screws to make it easier to mount.

Large, bright light and good quality. Looks great in place of burned out old flickering led fixture at a low price.

I have replaced two LED fixtures previous to buying this incandescent fixture. LEDs are supposed to last for many years, but the driver circuits that come in the LED fixtures I have used always fail after 2 or 3 years and the light starts flickering badly. Now I can have healthier light with no blue frequencies that cause sleep problems, and if a bulb burns out, easy enough to change. LED lights are great in theory, not so much in real life. The fixture itself looks great, nice smokey real glass dome and dark antique bronze finish. Easy to install.

I love these things. They work with great 20 watt 1300 Lumen CFL bulbs that Lowes carries in stock. Can't find any bulbs on Amazon that appear comparable or close price-wise. I installed 2 of these in my kitchen ceiling Replaced 2 old florescent models that I had installed brighter than OEM bulbs into just to make them tolerable. These are much brighter. The bulbs do take 15-20 seconds to achieve full brightness but that's pretty much the deal with every CFL bulb I have ever used. In this case, it's well worth the wait. Like any electrical fixture, the better your handyman skills the easier it goes. My 1951 home gives me plenty of challenges and practice improvising, adapting & overcoming. I like the simplicity of 3 bulb receptacles. Note: Any bulb that generates heat (usually says, "Do not install in enclosed fixtures." will heat up. When installed it is air-tight I did try some heat-generating incandescent bulbs with that warning. They were bright and very hot within minutes. They would surely have cracked the glass had I left them in. Go with the CFL bulbs. Save money & your fixture glass by following the specs and warnings.

The light was easy to install and looks great. There are 3 bulbs so light coverage is good. My only criticism would be that the knob that holds the glass globe is difficult to remove and put back. Hopefully with LED bulbs, I won't need to do that often. Also the blue glass beads were added by me and are NOT part of the fixture.

Well made work good

Have installed a lot of flush mount lights in my house. This one is a pretty standard and straightforward install, and the price can not be beat. It is nice and big, and the 3 lights make our bedroom very bright!

It is a large ceiling light with 3 standard base sockets for 60 Watt bulbs. It is very bright and well made. It is easy to install and replace bulbs too.

The light looks good and was easy to install.

I love it. It’s just the size I want with good quality.
