I’ve been using this for years. Medium fair skin with moderate sun damage - grew up at the beach. Love it. Some daupys I just use this to smooth out my skin tone and texture and call it good. When I use it under full make up, I get tons of compliments about my “creamy” health skin. Never EVER been told that before. Good stuff. I have it on repeat order.

My review for: L'Oreal Paris Magic Perfecting Base Face Primer. I’ve tried so many primers over the years & not one has worked on my face that has deep pores & very oily skin. This truly is “Magic” This 2 pack for $16.43 is the best price around!! I utilize subscribe & save but these 2 little jars go a long way! It’s easy to apply a lot at first but you really don’t need to. It takes very little to gently spread the primer around your entire face. I’ve learned it’s a VERY thin layer. One thing I learned is my moisturizer needs to set for at least 10 minutes before applying this otherwise it will pile. Once I learned those 2 tricks I was good to go. This truly is amazing! This controls my oily face from morning through the night. It smooths out so my pores are very minimal. I have very little wrinkles but what I do have this totally covers them. I can get away with wearing this alone or with makeup. I use powdered makeup only. Once again I learned the primer needs to set in for another 10 minutes before applying my powder. My face looks fabulous with this combination! I never thought I’d find a primer that was this cheap that would do what it does. If you follow my steps you’ll love it. I highly recommend!

I love this primer, unfortunately it has gotten too expensive and not worth it. It goes on smooth and gives your foundation a smooth result, but you can find an equally good product and much less expensive. Good product, terrible price.

There is a reason why this perfecting primer is still around and popular. Really good at minimizing fine lines. I like to use it for fine marionette lines and crows feet lines and on my lips when the winter has made lip creases around my mouth..works a charm. You can use it on a nice fresh washed and dried face, after a light moisturizer(wait til moisturizer is mostly absorbed), apply primer lightly and evenly to your target areas, and then apply foundation & rest of makeup. Or, I sometimes do my makeup and then lightly apply a little of the primer right over the marionette lines and eye crows feet lines, and then on the lips which actually works nice with my lipstick. A little goes a long way. Great versatile product.

I purchased this item as an additional moisturizer and to smooth out fine lines. Overall, I am happy with it. It moisturizers the skin quite well and does a good job at giving the skin a smooth look. I got 2 products and I feel that the price was quite reasonable since you don't need a lot. It will be also good to use in the summer months since it also matifies the skin a bit. The delivery was fast and effective, I'd recommend this product.

I have dry skin and this really helps me a lot before applying makeup.

I use this on my nose because my nose is shiny. It hides pores and takes away shine. Just a tiny bit does the job, and it lasts for several hours. I use it alone, usually. If I’m wearing liquid makeup, I might dab a little bit on my nose on top of the makeup. If I’m using powder makeup, I can use this as a base. Liquid makeup goes on a little weird if I use this as a base.

I love this primer. It is not watery, oily or shiny. It is a matte finish. It is good for people with fine lines and wrinkles.

It really works. I have tried a few primers and found this one to be the best! It is a bit pricey but worth it!
