I used this for lining waterproof wash bags,, it sews perfectly on the machine .seems quite strong yet lightweight enough for this purpose

I bought all the reflective colours expressly to make a couple of waterproof but lightweight coats for our hound dogs, hoping the traffic would notice them in poor visibility. The jackets have worked well with the fabric being light enough and yet well structured for an easy sewing session. The dogs are happy to wear them too now they realise the benefits of a waterproof ‘mac’ to venture out in. There was enough left from my purchases to make 3 shopping bags in various striped effects, to sell at a local charity fair, plus one for a friend. They were snapped up within an hour with the friend always being able to fold/ scrunch it into a pocket as a strong emergency shopper. She loves it as it’s also washable as well as having some protection from the weather.
