Love. Love. Love.The tail is amazing. The monofin insert is great. Folds up so small I was afraid it wouldn't fit. Laid it out and looked too long. Put it on and it's PERFECT!The top is tiny. Posed for a pic. That's about it.

I absolutely love the mermaid tail!!! The top only comes in youth sizes, but the adult sizes fit as expected.

I brought this mainly for the tail part, which fits GREAT, and my 12-year old loves it. I got it larger after reading the size reviews, and it fits well. My child is normal sized, is on swim team and plays soccer, so she's thin and muscular, and short, and this size fit her just right. the fin is lace-up so she was able to put her ladies size 7 feet in comfortably. We had bought one a couple years ago that was a super-DUD and this one seems much better. The bra-let part however, I expected to be awful, and was not disappointed. it is two teeny seashell shaped attached together, about the size of the diameter of a baseball. imagine two pancakes the size of baseballs attached together at the center like an infinity sign, and then add string to it that wrap around the back. It did not even fit over the important parts of my 7 year old right. We had a really good laugh all holding it up, I had read all the reviews about how awful the bra part was, and so i had told her right away that that was the throw-away bit, and she laughed, and it was not a problem. We really just got it for the tail, which was perfect.

 First off... So much fun and so pretty!That being said, you get what you pay for. The monofin is a plastic fin with a neoprene sleeve your feet slide into, not a single molded piece. The tail itself is thin swimsuit material, very shiny. There's 3 small pieces of Velcro at the bottom to keep it closed... They don't work unless you are sitting still. The least bit of wind or water and they pop open. I ordered the large, and it's barely big enough to fit in. (I'm 5'4" and 150lbs)I intend to replace the Velcro with something that actually holds, however overall I'm pleased with my purchase.

I absolutely think this was a great item!!! On most of the reviews people complained about the top being so small and if u are an adult and have a small sized Breast such as an A cup to a small C cup u can wear this shell bikini top! All u have to do is turn the top upside down and wear like in the photos I have shown with this review. The tail is made of a bathing suit material and has an opening in the bottom for the monofin but I didn’t buy the monofin extra with it and going to make one for my tail myself only to use for a photo shoot. Got this set for wearing in pics only so no need for the monofin. I am very happy with the tail and the top.

Runs small. Company was easy to work with to fix problem. The tail is very pretty, just order on the large side.

My tween bought one. It does come from China. The little clamshell top is worthless, even for my skinny little 9 yr old. The tail is exactly right and the sizes listed for recommendations was right on. The monofin has plastic green sides with a stretchy thick cloth for the black where they put their feet. You lace up the feet part to your needs. The tail opens up at the tip so you can put on the monofin, then it velcros shut. The Velcro is small squares and could be better quality, but it has held up to several trips to the pool so far!
