Easy on the eyes
I like the way this book is laid out. Some reading and some experiments. I plan on using this for science this year in my homeschool with 2, 4 and 6 graders.

Highly recommended
Very good introductory book for chemistry. Highly recommended for kids 10+ although it says the book is for 7-10. My son is 11 and he enjoys the book very much. It includes not only explanations of atoms and molecules but also periodic tables, history, names of scientists, ideas of science projects and explanations of some difficult terms such as quarks and valance electrons.
