Seriously. This thing is brilliant. It switches fully English. I needed a calculator that is exam legal, which wasn't programmable or graphing. The 991es is great, but very limited. The 991ex is a massive leap forward from the 991es. Still, the 991ex often lacks features like factorisation and lcm and gcd and many others.This one is probably not worth double the price for some people, but for those who'll use the nearly three hundred additional features, it's worth it.I will pay the premium for this calculator every time. Fantastic build quality. So fast, and that screen is incredible. It can do everything you can dream of. The spreedsheet is a hidden gem. The statistics function is so versatile. And being able to do linear systems in four variables and 4x4 matrices is nifty.If you aren't on a budget and need the best exam legal calculator then this is for you. Some of those features you don't always use, are priceless at times.P.s. It can graph functions with an app on the phone using a QR code function.

This is the most complete scientific calculator of its kind on the market. It works beautifully. I found useful to translate the Japanese text to English for reference.The only con is that it is very pricy, similar products are on the $10 to $22 USD range. I wish they would bring all these functions to an international version.

Fully functional. More features than fx-991EX.

Take one month to receive it because it is shipped from Japan. The calculator looks good and well-made. I hope the Canadian version can match it to include all the functions.There are still some Japanese characters in the menu even you switch the language to English. But I don't think it should be a problem at all.

This is Japan version Casio calculator.

前の機種fx-JP900を持っていて買い替えです。建築の技術系で使用しています。ENGボタンがなくなったのと、＾-1が裏ボタンになった事、＾3がなくなった事が痛いなと思って、最初使いづらかったです。ので、買ったもののあまり使わずにいました。でも、プラス要素としては、ボタンが圧倒的に押しやすくなりました。押し心地が気持ちがいいので、それで段々、せっかく買ったのだからとこちらを使うように。そうすると、この電卓の良さも見えてきました。ｆ（ｘ）キーの新設。リプレイの操作のしやすさ。Shiftキーだけゴールドキーでボタン操作が迷わずにしやすい点。やっぱり改良されてよくなっているなと思うように。不要なM+ボタンがなくなったり、log,Inは表裏ボタンでまとめられたり、ちゃんと使う頻度が少ないものは取捨選択されて整理されて良くなっています。使っていると、上記の不満があった点はボタン操作が増えたのですが、やり方に慣れてきて、不満に思わなくなってきました。ざっくりと言って、コンピューターに任せればいい機能は削ぎ落とされ、手計算ツールとしてアップデートされていて使いやすくなってると思いました。やはりカシオはおすすめです。ちなみにボタンのスムーズさだけでも、この新機種は今までと違いますよ。
