Delicious quality at a good price.
This fruit is so juicy and just the right sweet. Dont even think of buying the other brand they offer. I did, it's weak. This apple pie filling and topping is so yummy in your morning oatmeal, goes well with ham for lunch and by dinner you'll want to just eat the whole rest of the can. Makes you forget all about the pie. Highly recommend, and for pie, too.

Just perfect…
Chunky and tastes great. Not too sweet. Great value since I make my own apple croissants. Very easy to use-no need to Dr it up.

Great tasting apple pie filling. (With more apple)
Love the taste and there's a good amount of apple. Great filling. I use it for ice cream topping too.

Good but unfinished
I'd bought a couple cans of this no sugar added apple and it was very good so i ordered this by the case. The batch i got is apple and water, nothing else. Looks like it skipped a few steps before it was canned! The return process was nonexistent so I tried turning a can into a filling. Added some apple juice, allulose, cinnamon and cornstarch. Voila! Delicious and I can customize it. I really should give it 5 stars because it's tasty when you buy it normally and really, even making it up this way is easy because the cooked, peeled apple is the hardest part of preparing filling. Very good and I do recommend!

INDULGENCE WITHOUT GUILT!
I found a recipe for an apple caramel dump cake that I was making far too often for the amount of fat and sugar! I now use this Comstock sugar free pie filling, and brown sugar Stevia instead of caramel. I also use extra cinnamon and nutmeg, plu a little of the bourbon left over from Cmas eggnog. This is the type of dump cake recipe that uses dry spice cake mix topped with a ton of melted butter. First, I used 1/2 butter and 1/2 TJoes plant butter (which actually tastes good!). Although the plant butter doesn’t have any cholesterol, it is equal in fat and calories to dairy butter. Next I followed the recipe for the spice cake with oil, eggs, and water, and used batter to top apples and Stevia. It adds one bowl and a whisk to wash, but it comes out more like a regular apple spice cake, and is topped with lots of walnut pieces. My final version uses the regular cake mix version with melted plant butter instead of oil. I use a little more butter and a little less water. This version tastes great, but removes the guilt from all the extra sugar from the original recipe, and uses a healthier fat. It may not be health food, but I now make it for friends and family on a regular basis! I’ve also made an apple tart by topping the sugar free pie filling with pre-baked pieces of puff pastry topped with stevia, cinnamon, and walnut pieces.
