This is a brand of tweezers I'd never heard of before until I watched a model builder in Japan use on one of their projects. I was impressed with what appeared to be a sturdy set of tweezers capable of high detail work. So I finally got a pair and I was not disappointed. One of my biggest complaints about other fine tweezers I've used is that they're all ground to a conical point. This give the look of a really fine tool, but creates a tip that is very weak. Easily deformed by apply too much pressure. With these, they're absolutely capable of adding a good bit of pressure. Meaning manipulation is a lot easier. So ultimately, I'm really glad I bought these and expect they will serve me well for a very long time.

For the price, Hozan are very nice quality. Tips meet perfectly on the many pairs I have. The Elastomer, Wood and Ceramic tipped Tweezers are also very nice, but they can get expensive. The PP100 for example has Tips that are very nicely finished. Far better than Tweezers from a couple top name Tool Co’s that sell (probably outsourced)!Tweezers.

The quality is good. But it take almost two weeks to get it. Maybe it is from oversea.

I use them for small bonsai, especially pulling needles on black pines and will order again for gifts and in other sizes.

One of my favorite tools for my scale modeling hobby. Very heavy duty.

Amazon keeps deleting this review because it reveals the truth that the seller intends to obfuscate; Made in Pakistan. And I'll keep making the same statement: Pakistan produces some good products, but regardless, buyers have a right to know where a product is manufactured and Hozan products are presented as Japanese, which they aren't. And they aren't bad tweezers, but they are certainly not the best. For the same price, however, you can buy tweezers actually made in Japan, eg "Engineer" brand. If that matters to you, you can make your own decision. But keep in mind that Amazon does not want you, as the consumer, to be informed of product origins. I also encourage customers to report the removal of unbiased reviews by Amazon, to the FTC, which is a very easy and straightforward process.
