Berry Flavour Vegan protein Blend

This is everything I look for in a protein powder! I have been around the proverbial vegan protein block a few times and I won't be straying again. I have the cacao one now, and it's so smooth, you can taste its natural yet its so delicious and satisfying, whilst being full of important nutrients. A bit appeal was the daily dose of B12 - important for a vegan diet! This powder tastes awesome with just water, but naturally it's even better with a plant based milk. It's also low in calories sugar. I work out a lot and quite intensely, and have great results using it for muscle recovery. And to top it of, it's an ethically minded company. I even love that they don't provide a scoop - who on earth needs yet another scoop in their lives!!? Recommend this one big time!

I discovered this after another protein I had been using previously started putting all sorts of additional things in and was upsetting my poor tummy. This is the best vegan protein I’ve found. Am SO glad it’s back after many months. I was so sad without it and couldn’t find anything else similar. I love this vanilla flavour and also the berry one both delicious. I’ve not tried the others. Only stevia sweetened. No fava bean protein so gas you out. No soya and gluten free. Really clean you only have to check the ingredients.

Great to find a protein powder that’s vegan as I’m lactose intolerant and without artificial sweeteners which can irritate my stomach. Mixes well with soya milk when shaken in a bottle to make a nice smooth protein recovery drink after exercising but don’t bother trying it just with water, it was thin and lumpy! I have also stirred it into yogurt which is nice, but do have an extra glass of water afterwards or it can leave you feeling a bit dehydrated. Love the chocolate flavour.

I tried a few different non-vegan protein powders, switching due to stomach upsets. Then I heard the reason might be due to additives and was advised to look at vegan powders, as they typically have fewer additives. I did my research, looking at the ingredients for a few different brands, and Roots n Shoots had the briefest ingredients list, which I thought was a good sign! I’ve been using it for 6 months now and the stomach troubles that I’d get after drinking the non-vegan shakes have gone. I can drink a shake of this stuff and not have to worry about the after affects! Some notes: the flavours are a bit different to the non-vegan ones, precisely because there are fewer additives. That said, the cacao flavour does taste like cacao (different to chocolate, richer a slightly more bitter than chocolate), and the salted caramel flavour is nice and sweet without tasting too artificial. You do get a very small hint of bean flavour if you drink them straight up with water, more so with the chocolate flavour, but the taste is still good. If you combine into a fruit smoothie they taste fantastic. Also to note: the caramel flavour mixes better than the cacao flavour; but both need more water to mix properly than the non-vegan shakes I tried. I’m really really happy I found this brand, they seem really honest and the product is really good.

I like the flavour of this (and the vanilla falvour version). I also like that it has b12 added. However, it has no measuring spoon. It says to use five heaped tablespoons of the powder. This is a very inaccurate way of measuring because I can heap a spoon of this stuff very high if I want to. I have no idea if I'm putting too much or too little in most of the time. Furthermore, I have a problem with the fact that so much powder is needed. I think this needs to be addressed. For now, I'll carry on trying other brands. Clean Lean Protein has been best so far however I find it a little too expensive.

This is hands down the best vanilla protein shake I’ve ever had! Unlike mainstream shakes that leave me bloated and packed with additives, Roots N Shoots keeps it clean and pure. The texture is silky smooth—no graininess, no weird aftertaste, just delicious, high-quality nutrition. As a female, finding a protein shake that feels this light yet satisfying is a game-changer. This one is a total winner!

I've been trying various vegan powders in an attempt to reduce whey consumption. This was tbe latest, and had exactly the same result - it was so revolting that although I tried to persevere the bag went in the bin before I was a third of the way through it. I was hoping this one would be different, having such a high vanilla content, but nope. The smell of vanilla promises great thing when the bag is opened for the first time, but after blending / mixing you are left with the merest hint of vanilla, overwhelmingly crowded out by the main ingredients, so this smells and tastes of its main ingredient: dried peas and beans. I have yet to try a vegan powder that didn't come close to making me retch, and unfortunately, this joins the club.

I've tried a lot of different vegan protein brands. This one is great for its price point, very natural, doesn't leave you with an artificial after taste, it's not too sweet and mixes well! The milder flavour is good if you are using it in smoothies, on its own (I can't stomach the strong fake flavours of other proteins) or for overnight oats and you can always add a bit of date syrup or cinnamon to it! I especially love the ingredients list, it's simple and everything you need without any weird ingredients.

Il sapore è buono e il prodotto è completo dal punto di vista delle proteine e delle vitamine un ottimo apporto e si digerisce bene. L'unico aspetto negativo è che ha la solubilità del cemento. Mettendo metà dose rispetto a quella indicata per farla sciogliere in acqua l'unico modo è un frullatore.

Worst protein I’ve ever tasted

Le prendo con l'acqua, molto buone. Rispetto ad altre proteine vegane che ho provato sono molto lisce.

Da ich sehr viel Yoga mache und ich nach einem veganen Proteinpulver gesucht habe, habe ich dieses Produkt gekauft! Ich trinke es als Shake mit Hafermilch nach meinen Yoga-Workouts und ich bin total begeistert! Es ist sehr cremig und lecker! Da ich es erst kürzlich gekauft hatte kann ich die Wirkungen der Nährstoffe nich nicht bewerten. Was mir aber sehr gut gefällt ist, dass es auf natürlicher Basis ist und nur fünf Zutaten enthält. Ausserdem wurde hier kein zusätzlicher Zucker hinzugefügt!
