Not for me
Let me start by saying that I'm not trying to offend any traditionalist. I know wax has always been the way to seam a slate top. That's why I used it. Tried and true, right? I'm sure the pros can do it with no problem. But this is my first table seam.It was difficult to use, maybe because the resin that's added. It does not peel off like the picture shows. It is sticky and grabs the scraper. By the end of the process I did find that dusting lightly with powder helped tremendously. I wish I had figured that out earlier. I did manage to get the joint to a very good surface although the picture doesn't look as good as it feels.Next time I will use the rock hard filler that I have seen on some YouTube videos.See Entire Table Rebuild Here:http://s469.photobucket.com/user/wood-n-java/library/Pool%20Table%20Refurbish
