RIO Beach 4-Position Easy In-Easy Out Folding Beach Chair - Stripe

Beach chairs are hard to find since the pandemic. No one seems to have a decent beach chair. This Rio chair seat measures a bit higher than their usual lower seat beach chair which, now that I'm older, I find hard to get out of at the low height. The seat on this chair is about 9.75" high, not high enough to look "frumpy" but high enough to easily get out of the chair without falling out of it:)I chose the blue color. It's a nice blue. Lots of our beach goers have this blue, kind of royal blue. Fabric is tight and supportive, wide enough to accommodate the average beach goers' hips and construction is top notch, as always, for a Rio beach chair. Comfortable armrests and a cup holder as well on the armrest.Only drawback, I feel, is Rio should have made the back frame higher. I am 5'4" and, seated in the chair, the frame hits the back of my head which is not comfortable for me. I scoot down a bit so my head doesn't hit the frame and if you were 3" taller, your neck, not your head, would hit the frame. Rio, take note, make that frame higher next time around.All in all, I got my beach chair so I'm happy not to have to use my low seat chair which was so difficult to get out of. If the Tommy Bahama Easy In & Out chairs were available right now, and they haven't been for a year or so online, I would have chosen their model because I know the back height measurement is ideal for comfort. But, I've got a nearly perfect beach chair for now which will probably last me for several years based on Rio's quality and I'm pretty happy, just not thrilled.

The chair is very wide, so there is a lot of room to sit in it it’s at a great height not too low so Easy to get out of it While in the sand. It’s light to carry, the only thing that I would’ve liked better is if it reclined a little bit further other than that a great chair.

I was specifically look for a beach chair that reclines. This one does not go all the way flat, but the four positions are good enough for me. The blue color is attractive and it seems well made. My husband likes that is has wooden arms instead of plastic. My biggest complaint is that it feels big and awkward to carry. It has a shoulder strap, but they are never a portable as the back straps.

Wife loves it. Thats all that matters!

This chair is the perfect height for lounging in the sun in the beach. My lower back always hurt after a day at the beach in my old chair but this one is not a low yo the ground and is much more comfortable. I highly recommend it. Also, the color is great and the fabric is nice. The cup holder is a little flimsy but is fine for a water bottle. The shoulder strap makes it easy to carry.

We have loved these beach chairs. They appear to be of good quality and we expect many years of use out of them. They are now super low, but not normal height either. They are great for the beach!

I use for the beach. It’s light weight. Not so low that it’s hard to get out. Cup holder is nice. I lover all good for price point.

The extra inches make getting in and out easy. Back recline works great. Sturdy fabric. Wish it had backpack straps instead of shoulder strap.
