Good Pet Tracker and good customer support
Once set up and I got use to using menus very good. I have two Kippy evos one for each of my two cats. So far no big issues. Tracking is easy and switching between the two cats gives a good indication of where they are within 5 to 10 meters or so of their position. The main thing is to know in what direction they are, as it’s then easy to just go out and search for them if need be. The minimum refresh time is one hour, I think 30 minutes or 45 minutes selection option would be useful but this would drain the battery a bit faster, I have the refresh rate set at one hour for each cat and the battery lasts easily for 3 days, you can do a manual update of the position of your pet at any time. Good utilities and helpful tools, for History, Activity monitoring, GPS tracking, Geo fence set up etc to name a few. Also when your pet is within 10 metres of your house it will notify you so you can call them.

Overall a good investment for peace of mind. Tracking is surprisingly accurate.
Overall I am fairly pleased with this product. I did a lot of research on these trackers after a very stressful time when my cat went missing for four days having never been gone from the house for more than 2 hours in the past. I think it may have helped that the overall impression I got of these trackers (all of them not just this brand) was that they weren't that reliable and the signal was bad and glitchy but I was desperate for anything so took a punt on this one because it looked smaller than the others (which having seen it compared to a neighbour's who has a Tractive it is smaller, but I think the Kippy may be heavier (hence for cats 4kg+).But I have been really pleasantly surprised with generally how accurate the GPS tracking is. I know more or less exactly where my cat is most of the time. I can check the tracker and see she is passing right in front of the house, look out my window and indeed there she is! I don't think you could want for more than that in terms of the tracking and it is honestly better than I would have expected from one of these devices, so I guess it depends what your expectations are. Yes sometimes it seems to get a bit confused and you get these straight lines where the signal has jumped about a bit, but on the whole these are only occasionally and it adjusts itself fairly quickly. I've also noticed that you get used to understanding what it is showing you and you learn to interpret when it isn't working, particularly once you learn how your cat behaves and where it usually goes. I have noticed it can get confused when the tracker is in a narrow space (discovered this from trying to locate it when the cat lost it in a very very narrow alleyway), which might not be good for built up areas - I assume because the signal doesn't work as well. I live in a large rural village so it may be that it works very well for me on the whole because I don't live in a built up area. One of the things I wish it was better on was the battery. Unfortunately the battery life is not great, but I can see why. When you are actively using the app and following the cat around on your phone (it's very addictive fyi!) it does really drain the battery but I equate this with if you have google maps open on your phone for hours a day - you would also drain your phone battery the same way. In terms of battery power I would say it is very comparable to your average smartphone - I personally shut the cat in at night and put the Kippy on to charge overnight (it doesn't take long to charge but again, if you charge it and then leave it for a few hours, you'll be starting the day on 80% not 100%!) The battery doesn't drain as much if you don't use the app constantly throughout the day, so you could maybe stretch it to two days without charge, but it depends how much you want to risk something happening and you not having charged it beforehand because then you've given yourself a limited time to track down your cat (or the kippy itself if, like my cat, you manage to ditch it and come home without it!)Despite having had it under a month, my cat has already managed to lose it three times! Don't take that as a reflection on the Kippy - it's just due to the fact I've put it on a quick release collar (for her safety but to my annoyance each time she gets it off!) But my advice in hindsight is a) make sure you put it on a reflective collar. The light on it is not brilliant and the only reason I have found it each time she lost it was down to the reflection of the collar, not the light on the Kippy. Which leads me to b) either consider a tracker which comes with a noise to locate it with or else buy one of those key finder fobs and also attach that to the collar so you can locate it by sound when your cat gets out of it, as despite the tracking giving you a good idea of where it is, like I said above she lost it down a really covered closed off space and it confused the tracker and made it hard for me to work out which side of several fences it could be! And c) make sure your phone number is somewhere on the collar in case someone finds it. May not be a problem for some owners if your cat is not mischievous but if you have a tortie you'll understand why you need to take precautions! The light on the Kippy seems to flash whether you turn it on or not - and there are different colours and I haven't quite worked out what they all mean! This is good in that you can see where your cat is in the dark but I do hope this isn't draining the battery more than necessary.I've found the app quite simple to use - I'm not quite sure why some people have said it isn't user friendly as it seems fairly intuitive to me. It was very easy to set up and I opted for the year long plan only because that was the only way to get the cumulative stats on history of where she'd been.It also has some cool little features which make it much like a mini pet fitbit. So it shows how many steps they've done and how many minutes running/walking/playing etc. It's not totally accurate but it's given me enough of an idea that I've learned she barely leaves the house when I am out all day because her steps are so low compared to days when I work from home where she's out and about all the time! It's not the nicest thing to have around your cat's neck as it looks so big and cumbersome but I've found she's adapted surprisingly well and I remind myself that it's better than the alternative of her becoming lost or trapped and having no way to find her. It probably is much more suited for dogs due to the size, but as I said I couldn't find any that were smaller (except one where the reviews were awful!) So overall I'd say if you want some peace of mind it's a very worthy investment. You will also learn an awful lot about your cat! Maybe one day the technology will improve and there will be much smaller and more accurate devices but for now this seems as good an option as you'll get for a cat.

Tracking Collar that gives peace of mind for our furry Friends
Our amazing dog walker emigrated, so like many of my neighbours, we had to find a new walker - Which is a challenge - with so many people getting Dogs during the Pandemic..... there is a shortage of good dog walkers.A recent situation happened whereby a neighbours dog panicked with a new dog walker and ran off, after 3 very stressful days they were luckily reunited. This simply made it a no brainer to get a Tracker.... and made me think, why had I not done it before. Yes dog are micro chipped, and but if they go missing - where do u start looking.I checked various different trackers, but Kippy offered a wealth of features - and was by far the best, that went over above is principle locator feature. I can see the level of exercise my dog has had, number of steps and so much more. Many of my dog owning friends, who were part of the search party for our neighbours missing dog, have invested in a KIPPY, the annual GSP charge is a small fee. But gives u that live 'Locator' confidence.Very happy with Kippy, my little dog does not mind wearing it.... so overall all good ! Great product, value, and ultimate peace of mind !

Premium Pet Tracker
I've been looking around for another tracker for my dog for a while. I've tried other trackers including findster duo+ and dog tracker nano and they all seem to lack in one area or more.It arrived very promptly and in perfect condition. To give a quick summary of what came in the box :charging cableCharging saddleStrap to attach the kippyManualIve had it now for a week, and I absolutely love it. It gives me so much information on how long Maddy has been sleeping, to live location and the routes weve walked, as well as calories burnt.I also found it more reassuring that on night walks there is an integrated LED light that I can activate remotely. I've read in the manual that it is waterproof but we havent tested that yet, but it did survive a light drizzle on one of our walks. I'll keep you updated if anything does change.
