Needed a new ac adapter for my security cameras and couldn't find one at any of my local stores that would fit for the amount of power I needed. So I found this one and it works perfectly and has enough power! Definitely worth the money!

I bought this as a replacement power supply for an LED light. Worked perfectly! With all of the different size attachments, this is a great value for the money!

I needed it to run 4 strips of LED lights. The total current draw was less than 2 amps (starts out about 1.7 and rises over time to about 1.9). This power supply, rated at 2.5 amps, should have had no problem with that as a load. But after less than an hour, the LED's started blinking on and off, and I checked the power supply - very hot. By the time I managed to unplug it, it had completely died. I replaced it with another unit rated at 3 amps in a larger package, which works well. The 2.5 amp specification is either a false claim or I had a defective unit. No way for me to tell which. Returned it for a full refund.
