Highly recommended this product
The brand name is a bit confusing, saying Cookology for a tumble dryer - however, we purchased this, we needed a small dryer for our home. This works absolutely brilliantly, despite its small size. You can indeed fit quite a lot inside it. It has all the usual controls, cool and hot settings. It is very well made and doesn't take up much space.Brilliant product for the price.

Compact and quiet
I was suprised at how small it appears when unpackaged. Its quiet in operation. If you have it floor standing then it could be awkward to kneel down to set the timer dial. I like that you also have a cool air timer setting to refresh wardrobe clothes. the extraction pipe is a smaller diameter than the standard size. the star off is for the filter and the dial when floor standing. If the unit is floor level then pulling out the filter from the back of the drum with four fingers in the slots can be more awkward even than setting the dial. you have to pull evenly with four fingers in four slots, otherwise it wont budge and might break. Also refitting it you'll be doing it by touch if its floor standing. I recommend a toothbrush for the paper filter and a ball of lint to clean the gauze filter to avoid ripping it. There is also an intake paper filter behind a flap on the front that needs cleaning once a month depending on usage.

Fabulous and Convenient
Having never owned a dedicated tumble dryer before I was initially sceptical about the great reviews for this product. I've always bought washer/dryer machines but the drying function of them has always been pretty naff, so I've just resorted to using a clothes horse or radiators. However, I took a punt on this mini dryer and I was blown away. It is brilliant. Chucked a towel in for the first go, and it came out soft and fluffy. Then a few T-Shirts which came out without having to be ironed. Then a day after setting this machine up, as if by a stroke of serendipity, my sceptical wife discovered she had a requirement to emergency dry a garment, and now even she has seen the merits of this great machine. How have I existed without it. I wish we'd had this when my child was a baby. I shudder at the memories of all those hot summer nights with the radiators on full blast trying to dry bibs. While I've only had this device for a week, it's already a firm kitchen favourite. Great value for money. Much quieter than the washing machine when in use. Drys the clothes brilliantly. The vent on the rear allows you to fit the 90° elbow, to which the concertina vent pipe can be attached. The pipe is rigid but flexible, keeping the shape you bend it into, allowing tidy placement and fitting. Controls are intuitive and the unit is reasonably light given the weight of typical kitchen appliances. I'm delighted. Wish I'd bought one years ago.

One nifty little dryer
This portable dryer is just right for me because I was sick and tired of drying my clothes in the house on rainy days its ideal for me and my daughter this dryer can be stored on top of a kitchen counter it's a vented dryer the pipe and the condenser box was easy to install in your little machine if you want your machine to Last you pls clean you dryer after every use this helps with the life of your dryer proper care is very important so pls look after your dryer it's an easy care one so you can use your vacuum cleaner to clean the filter because you can remove the filter to clean it and keep it dust free don't forget to give the air intake vents a vacuum too because if you don't care for dryer it will break down and it be very costly to have it fixed.this dryer is just right if you live in a small flat or an apartment building where you have limited space this dryer is worth every penny so pls look after your dryer properly ā¤š„°š„°ā¤ā¤

Good
My old large dryer finally went off to electronics heaven and as there is only 2 of us now, I chose this after multiple review reads. Worked well on test run. Appears a little noisier than Iām used to but it was in a different room at the time and was being watched š. It is about half the size of its big brother and could easily sit on a work top.

Kinda did the job while it lasted?
Finally crapped out after 35 months. It was alright for the price! Be aware that it takes a good 8 hours to dry a full load of laundry (gets down to about 2 hours for like a third of a load). It's a little noisy but not super bothersome (can't hear it from another room). I'd say it started dying around the 20th month mark, with increasing smoke smells (even after emptying the lint trap) and decreasing load capacity (like it would just fully refuse to start if I put a full load in, then a half load, etc until it wouldn't even turn on for a few socks). But for a $150 dryer I can't complain. If you want a long lasting or fully functional appliance, look elsewhere, but for a temporary/cheap dryer it sort of does the job for 2 years.
