Starter came within delivery time frame. It was new, packaged well. No directions on installation, but YouTube has everything. Starter fit perfectly in my 1996 Honda 400, and had it starting on the first try.

Three years of daily use (for 7 months of each year) and still going strong
We use this TRX300 as a part of a commercial operation and we use it on practically a daily basis for about 7 months of the year. I installed this replacement starter three years ago and it's still working perfectly today. Still performs just as it did the day I installed it. Turns over easily and starts up the ATV right away with no drama whatsoever. Very satisfied with it.

Need to indicate direction of Rotation !!!!
Purchased the starter for an ATV specifically listed in product description. While the starter bolted on properly and the part looks identical the rotation was backwards. Had to rewire starter using parts from the old starter to make it work. Not the easiest thing to do in a bush camp during winter. Seller needs to indicate rotation direction on ATV models and Starters.

spins the wrong way
I read the reviews before I bought this and saw 2 people say it spins the wrong way and a lot of others say it worked great so I ordered it and it spins the wrong way.this is the second item I have bought that has not worked and unless I want to take the time and pay the shipping I am stuck with them and basically tossed my money in the garbage.i have prime for a reason fast shipping because I don't have the time to waste.so as of now I have 2 products sitting in my garage doing nothing and I am out the money.
