16cm Long Barley Twist Banana Clip-Black by Inca

I was so happy to find this banana clip because they are so hard to find now but my other ones did not always separate into 2 pieces so easily. This one does. I can always get it back together again but I'm afraid that it will separate more & more easily after long-time use & pop open at an inopportune time.

I have been looking for a product this length for the last 4 years. It may come from England, but worth the wait. They have a nice twist design on the sides. I bought two at the same time, that way I had a spare if one broke. Even though it says 16cm, its just a quarter inch shorter than the 7 inch I used to buy in the US during the 80's and 90's. If you have long, curly, thick hair this is the clip you want and need.

I dont use this as it is not as big as the ones I have bought in younger years

I was looking for this item for couple of years now, bought so many of different ones hopping for them to work..... nothing!!!!!!! This is the real thing!!!!! The teeth point away from your head so when you are closing the clip it misses your hair. The picture shows the new barley clip (with the slanted teeth) on the right verses an old clip where the teeth are angled downward. The result is that the slanted teeth don't catch your hair when you sweep it closed. Maybe someone with thick curly hair could use it but it doesn't work with my straight hair.

Well I purchased this exact item last summer prior to a trip and needed to purchase again as I misplaced the initial one. Boy, the quality of these have sunk quite low. The first time I used it the opposite end popped open. I do not have luxuriously thick hair either.I would not recommend this inferior product.

I have a TON of hair and this is the only clip I can find that actually holds back all of it.

This is the cutest and tightest fitting banana clip I've ever had! Not very comfy to lay on but for the look and hold of even thin straight hair this can't be best! I have thick curly hair but sometimes I throw it up before I get in the shower and when I brush it out it feels thin and straight. Still stays up strong.

I cannot find these in the shops anymore because they are not popular.. I have ordered these before, they are great value but don't last forever as some of the teeth on the previous ones I bought have broken off but they are plastic so to be expected with wearing them so much. This is the only thing I can use as hair clips fall out as my hair is too fine.

Goes in hair easily but doesn’t stay put very long. My hair is extremely thick and even my hair doesn’t keep it from falling out! Saying that, I paid less than £2 for it, so didn’t expect miracles

Item wouldn’t open then broke, like plastic bought another one from Superdrug which is much better.

I have been really happy with this, I absolutely love how it looks in my hair. I have long straight hair and because of this, a lot of clips just slide out after a few hours at the most, but this will actually stay in most of the day. It is a very long clip though so if you have a small hair you may find it's it too big. It's not the highest of quality, but for the price, I'd recommend trying it out, especially if you're looking for a slightly different style for your hair.

This is a great product though my hair is a little thick for it. Can still make some great styles, the clip closes tightly and is secure when in place. Only downside is I found it a bit short but then I have lots of hair :-) worth buying, cheap, fast delivery and nice product
