Comprehensive. Useful for the Cambridge DELTA course.
Thornbury's A-Z of ELT is good (though a bit overpriced), but this updated version of A.L. is great. The 1997 version is decent but has some very outdated cultural references (Boomtown Rats anyone?), and lacks the latest on slang / annoying frequently updated technical jargon that teachers deal with. Treat it like an exercise book, going chapter by chapter. Helped with the M1 exam for sure.

A Must Have for Those Teaching English Grammar
A great addition to my library. It not only explains you the concepts but also provides exercises to put your knowledge in practice. The answers come with explanations and clear misconceptions.
