FLY LondonWomen's Yip Boot

I loved these shoes and there are my first Fly London purchase. I did have to return for a larger size. I wear a 9 1/2 and I ordered down as others suggested. The 40 felt a little snug and my big toe felt as if it was rubbing against the top of the shoe. So I returned for the next size, 41, and they fit great. I wore them for a two week trip through Europe and they did well on the cobblestone streets, hills, and uneven sidewalks. They looked great with jeans, and the night we were walking through town for dinner, I put them on with black skinny dress pants and they looked and felt great. I would definitely buy from this brand again. They sell them at Nordstroms, but the price was better here. Would love to try more in different styles. They are pricey, but to have a walking vacation free of foot pain is worth it. Oh and I forgot to say I never put any water repellent on them and we got caught in the rain one day. I was worried they would be ruined, but in fact they water seemed to fall right off them. No problem at all!

Ok, first thing I'll say is that they were a tad smaller than I expected. When I go to Europe I always buy size 38 shoes, which is what I ordered in these, but with this bootie, I could have used a 39. I am counting on them stretching out a bit, as they are made of a supple, soft leather that gives, and I will just wear them with nylons instead of socks, and I'm sure they'll be fine, size-wise. That said, I LOVE THESE and can't wait for the colder weather to get some true wear from them. I believe they will combine with so many outfits, and I find them modern, interesting, stylish, and different, and COMFY!! I have problem feet due to bunions and so comfort is KEY for me. They are as chic in person as in the photo. Love the look and the feel of them. Uh oh, I could be falling in love with FLY London ....

These are not as special as I wanted them to be....for the price. Frankly, they look like black ankle boots. Because they are. But for the price, maybe I should have gone for suede or a different color. They aren't as special...I have a pair of Fly London in 38, and they are too big. For me, 38 is too big, too loose. I ordered the these in 37 and they fit, but the toes are somewhat snug. Not uncomfortable. But I believe (at least I am hoping) that as I wear them more, the somewhat snugness will work itself out. I have worn them two days straight now and I have noticed that yes, 37, is the right size in terms of sole length, but the toes are snug. It's NOT because my toes are pressed against the tip of the shoe. It is the space between the toe top and the sole, it's snug.For two days I have worn them and I am comfortable (for breaking them in) and I am steady on my feet.

Fly London boots, with this particular wedge, are surprisingly sturdy and give me a sense of security. I'm a little cautious when it comes to height, but, because of the platform, there is no teeter-tottering here: your foot is angled only about an inch even though you're actually higher off the floor. The height from the floor, while I can see may bother some, is not really disturbing to me.Although I'm in forties, I still feel very appropriate in these. They are deceivingly light, and hug your foot so, that it's like packed in a comfy "blanket". I am size 7M sometimes 7W and the 37 always fits me, no matter the style, in this brand. Their gauge is 37=6.5-7. The leather is soft like butter and very pliable. This one has a zipper so truly easy on n off. Colors are as depicted and I saw several.I would take off a half a star only because, although lightweight, they do appear slightly clunky, but they're so adorable, and well made, they truly deserve the 5 stars. Love love love!

Beautiful but NOT a size 11!

I am in love with the entire Fly line. These booties are so amazing. They have a nice wedge heel to give it a really sharp fashion look. I get so many compliments whenever I wear these booties. I think it is the sheer simplicity of the booty that makes them so attractive. I bought them about two years ago from a very chic store, and then I realized they were starting to wear out because I wear them every single day. So I started searching for my backup pair and soon realized the chic store where I bought them decided to replace the FLY line with a shoe line that was not made in China I was so so disappointed, and was going into panic mode for these boots, and that's when I start searching Amazon for these kind of things. I was so excited to find them. I ordered the size 39 and they came so quick. When I first tried them on, I thought they seemed too tight, as compared to the original pair I had owned. The reason for the 4 and not 5 stars was that the overall finish was not as soft and smooth as my first pair, I guess that triggered me to say no problem, I will just order the size 40. Well the size 40 arrived, and they were really huge. I had no problem returning them. Thank you Amazon. The seller and the entire Amazon experience is first rate. I love those fly booties and hope they NEVER stop making them. They are literally like wearing running shoes. So comfy.

Can we maybe do 9 stars? Love these little booties - they are SO soft, the wedge is the perfect height without jacking my heels up to the ceiling, and the leather that Fly London uses is typically fabulous. Booties are fairly lightweight, considering they have a pretty chunky vibe. Color I got was "graphite" which is almost black, with a silver shimmer. I think these fit a bit smaller than some other FL shoes, as I ended up with a Euro size up from most of my other FL shoes, so if you are between sizes, try "up" first. These are comfortable for as long as I want to wear them. Very happy. Will try to get a brighter color to go with these if I can find them!
