Brackets work just fine with the LG 2.1 Soundbar (SL3D) sold at Walmart. The instructions leave something to be desired, but with a level, a good drill, measuring tape, bits, and a little patience, you can get your soundbar firmly attached to the wall under your wall mounted tv and enjoy the fruits of your labors. Mine had an extra wall screw and molly, plus the screws that screw into the bottom holes of the soundbar to hold it firmly to the brackets. Make sure to drill a test hole first. I was lucky to hit a crossbar behind the sheet rock, so I didn't have to use the mollies at all.

I lost the Original Mounting Hardware Packet this Is the same stuff and the mount looks perfect, flush and sturdy. Bought it for my LG-Lgsk4D(23) soundbar.
