Canine Equipment Ultimate Trail Dog Boots, X-Small, Black

We've only had these about a week but I really like them so far. I live in NYC and the sidewalks here are DISGUSTING, not to mention theres still a pandemic going on, so my dog NEEDS to wear something to cover his feet outside. Some might say Im OCD but theres literally hobo poop everywhere right now and thats not getting in my house.Nor is any covid snot spit thats everywhere on the ground lately as well. Humans are gross creatures, no big surprise everyones getting sick. ANYWAYS.. these are great as my dog likes to put on his breaks when sketchy folk come lurking about us. The fact that they have a sturdy base is what makes these awesome for us. He was wearing socks with Pawz on top but he kept tearing holes bugging out on the concrete. They fit well but I did order the small to begin with based on his measurements and they were too big. Hes a 14 lb very long legged Brussels Griffon with kinda big feet for his size so smaller dogs probably wont fit in these. UPDATE: So my pup has been wearing these twice a day on our 30 min walks for about a month now. They havent once even slightly come off. I would recommend putting dog socks on your dog with these as mine developed little blisters on his front middle toes but once I treated the area and started with the socks this has stopped.

They stay on my dogs paws, she is a 16 lb. Malteepoo. Only one shoe might come off, and she is getting used to them. They are really good quality, the nicest that I have purchased.

The foot palate seems correct, but the width of the closures is too big. The opening is too big, I can't close the velcro tight enough to keep them on. The velcro on the closure does not go to the end of the tab and thus does not close tight! I need to return these. They are not sufficient. Can we get this corrected?

I purchased these for my dog who temporarily lost her ability to use her back legs. I tried all different kinds of solutions including socks, bandage wraps, booties from a pet store and duct tape with the booties and socks! Everything I tried did not last very long and usually by the end of one or two wears she had holes in them and huge sores on her feet. I have had these for about a month and a half. At first when she had sores on her feet I would wrap her feet in gauze, put on toddler socks (securing the socks with tape just over her elbow) and place these over the top. Later I would just put on the toddler socks and these over the top. I know that there are two different sizes for front and back feet but I would rotate them using one pair on her back feet one day and the other pair the next day. She wore them all day and night, outside and inside, through the doggie door, on rough tile floors, concrete and in the grass and dirt. When we first purchased these she mostly drug her back feet behind her so I put them on upside down so that the rubber was on the ground protecting her feet. I had to wash them quite often but they are still in great shape. I know that these are expensive compared to other brands but they saved me a ton of money in the long run. She is now walking pretty well and we just stopped using them. I am so glad I purchased these as it helped keep the sores off of her feet and allowed us to focus on her walking not her sores.

The Velcro closure is not snug enough. After running 20 feet they work their way off.

Unfortunately, although these shoes are well made, they ran bigger then indicated even whe you measure as the directions show.

These boots fit my girl & stay on! Up hills downs hills over rocky terrain. Love the way they have double closure & different sizing for front & back paws. They fit lower then Ruff wear boots, are softer & surprisingly don’t irritate her dew claws! I am impressed they stay on! She digs & scrapes her feet after doing her nightly duty & no slipping 😊 we are on the trails again!

Great fit! Love the two different sizes for front and back paws. However, the velcro can be improved, it's not as heavy duty as it is described.

The boots were well built. The double velcro helped to make sure they were secured well and the rubber bottoms would protect the feet well. The boots arrived very quickly, but sadly I couldn't get them to stay on my dogs feet. I have tried every kind of dog boot for him, so I think it's the shape of his feet and not the boots themselves. That's the reason I gave them 4 stars. I think they would have been great, just not for my dog.

Fit my 25lb cockapoo perfectly, and also stay on which is key. Issues: water resistant - barely, they were soaked after a walk in light rain snow - sticks onto velcro and loosens them (I saw this in another review too) Otherwise they are working great after trying many options that either pulled at her hair or didn't stay on the entire walk!

Well made beautiful But would not Stay On !

I bought both size S and XS. But when I put them side by side. They are exactly the same! The sizing are completely wrong!!
