Good crimpers, work perfectly.

Most of these 'speciality tools' are twice the price. This one fit the bill perfectly, and was half the price of others available. It worked perfectly and got my project back on the road!

A friend gave me the idea to add cable loops to a kayak I just bought for extra security, so I picked up this and some cable. This thing is great—easy to use and fast—I can't believe I lived without one for so long. It's easy to use and delivers enough leverage to securely crimp the ferrules, and it's nice that they give you 100 of them to get started. I went and crimped a bunch of stuff after finishing the kayak loops—added some loops to my truck's tie-downs, made a few double-ended cables for the garage, the possibilities are almost endless. I haven't put anything through extensive testing yet to see how durable the ferrules are but based on yanking on them and some light-duty work, it seems to work exactly as I'd expect.

These work great and are easy to use. Press as hard as you can. I made a mistake and a few connections came apart…. But my fault for sure. After I made new connections I have not had any problems at all.

This wire rope crimping tool is the perfect match to the wire rope I ordered. I got it to install string lights around my campsite. The tool has a bit of weight to it which is expected. Something cheap would break in 2 min trying to cut through wire rope. This doesnt feel cheap at all. The handle is nice sized which gives you a good grip when squeezing it. They include 100 double barrel ferrule crimping sleeves to use with the wire rope. Which is exactly what you need to hold the rope tight.

Well built and easy to use. I am string up lights in the back yard and using thin cable stringers. This tool makes it look like I know what I’m doing. As we all know it’s not how many times you fail, just how good the finished product looks and functions. This makes it look like you know what you’re doing. Yes you could use a hammer. But when it comes to making a semi-hard job easier, this does that. And it looks good in your tool belt.

It is very hard to crimp the sleeves, you have to be strong. It's not as easy as I thought.
