Awesome and absolutely necessary!
First of all, LEAVE NO TRACE. Take your trash with you! The Trasharoo promotes keeping and helping the lands stay clean. The best part is you don't need to load your (or other peoples) stinky trash into your car anymore, keep it out side (not on your roof) I have had mine for about 2 years now and it has been through a lot! Dirt, mud, rain, snow, hail, freezing temps, and hot temps. Best bit of gear I have for camping. My wife and I toured the Sierras for 4 days, we didn't pass 1 trash can where we were to empty it, but it's big enough to hold it all. It's rated for 50lbs (I think) I know that I've had about 70lbs in it during a trash pick up event. I took a lot of metal scrap that day.Absolutely a great purchase. I am 99% happy with the Trasharoo. -1% because they do tend to fade color pretty quick.NOTE: If you store your trash on your car, it could attract animals, like bears. Store your trash and food properly in bear boxes or in a tree (if that's your thing)PRO TIP: Purchase the tan one, it fades to more tan. If you get the black or camo one, they turn purple-ish. The green one? not sure actually... Enjoy!

Can't live without it.
This is my 2nd Trasheroo. I run it on the back of my Jeep everyday. If you only put it on when you go off reading or camping, it will last forever. Mine was in the Montana sun and winter 24/7 and lasted about 5 years. A great way to collect and store your own (and others' trash :( ) while out camping and off roading. Stores almost anything you don't want in your rug. Also, it looks like your rig is wearing a little backpak!! Highly recommend!!

Great Bag
This bag is great, well made and super spacious. I hope it holds out as well and the reviews I've watched on YouTube!.The bag came with an extra strap with velcro to adjust. I would not have known its purpose if I had not watched the reviews on YouTube... The strap is to hold the top of the bag mounting straps close so the bag doesn't slide down the spare...My only complaint (and it's really not a complaint, more of a suggestion to the manufacturer) is that there is no instructions (yes, it's mostly self explanatory but the cross strap, for example, I would not have known its purpose unless I had watched videos on YouTube...) accompanying the product. Will keep the reviews updated as I use the bag. I hope it continues to be positive!Safe travels and happy camping!

Well made but lost the battle with UV
The Trasharoo was mounted on a Jeep Wrangler. Installation was a little cumbersome but manageable. I live in SOCAL with overcast mornings and sunny afternoons. But after three years of relatively pleasant weather, the top fold succumbed to UV exposure. The material deteriorated and was easily torn. So it cost me $20/year to use and I purchased a replacement Trasharoo because it was otherwise a durable, useful bag.UPDATE DEC 2023The Trasharoo purchased in Aug 2021 has failed for the same reason noted above. This time it lasted almost 2 1/2 years. I wish they would use a material more resistive to UV light. I will try another one.UPDATE OCT 2024Purchased a third Trasharoo and periodically treated it with UV protection spray. As an overlander, I use it mostly for trash and firewood. Unfortunately, after ten months a thief at Walmart stole it off the back of my Jeep with my litter picker. (Some people, but then again there's karma!) With it's short evaluation period, I was unable to determine if the UV spray would have prolonged its life. I like this product enough to try a fourth bag and will continue with the UV treatments.

The Trasharoo does it's job, and does it well.
I love having this on my long trips. It's really nice having my trash outside of the vehicle. I've also used it as a place to keep my portable toilet system. I've also used it to hold a chair or an axe/shovel or about 20 other things. If it has a downside it's the attachment. The ratchet and snap system work okay, but it would be nice to have a non-removable loop at the top as a safety strap. I may take it and have one installed. I think mine is going on 6 years old now. At some point I'll get a new one.

Great addition to our rig!
We love our trasharoo! So nice to have an outdoor spot to put our trash when camping. It can be slightly annoying to put on but we hardly have to do it since we use garbage bags in it. We have used it to tote small amounts of wood as well. It has drain holes in the bottoms which is nice and we use the zipper pouch for holding bungees and tow straps. The fabric does discolor in the sun so beware, the tan we bought still looks good even after discoloration. The fabric could be stronger, ours is mounted on too of a hi-lift and it rubs on that and has created some small holes. But for the price it's the best truck trash bag you can get.

durable product
Had this product for a couple of months and used it a handful of times and I can say it's a very sturdy and durable product. It is great for camping and overloading because it gives a little more room to store thing that you might pick up on the way to the camp like bundles of wood or some extra snacks. It is super easy to setup on the spare tire of the truck. just line it up and throw the straps around and you're done.

More durable than you'd think.
We bought this to store our clean waist portable toilet while camping. Gave it a proper torture test on a two week trip to Colorado from Ohio (installed the entire time) We had pine shavings, trash bags, and other consumables inside the big compartment, with various camp supplies left in the outside pockets (hand sanitizer, clamps for keeping stuff secure in the wind, etc). The inside of the bag stayed dry, and through 150+ miles of 6+ rated trails that we did, the bag didn't move at all. The only negative (and its only if you are using the bag for storage, not trash) is that the lower parts of the main compartment are pretty challenging to reach with a tall vehicle. A single vertical zipper in the center (under the flap) would give the bag a bit more utility.
