Insight Guides Madagascar (Travel Guide with Free eBook)

I’m hoping to go on a wildlife holiday to Madagascar next year, but don’t know anything about the country! The Insight Guide is the most recent guide I could find and, having bought other books in this series in the past, decided to purchase this one. The layout is excellent and the content seems to cover everything I’ll need - history, culture, destinations, practical info, etc - and the images are superb. However, having read less than a third of the text, I am very disappointed to discover that there are many - albeit fairly trivial errors - that, as someone who spent their working life in publishing, I believe should have been picked up during the proofing stages. These include missing or wrong words, misuse of singulars/plurals, etc, etc. I guess many readers/users of the book won’t be as pedantic as I am, but for me this spoils somewhat what would otherwise be a brilliant guide. I shall be downloading the free ebook before I travel so I don’t have to take the hard copy with me - what a great idea to have this!
