Repugnant smell, can’t use it as a skin oil . I don’t think I could stand the smell to cook with it.
I have used safflower oil for several years on my skin, great moisturizer/ skin softener . Amazon did not have what I have been ordering; so I tried this product. It was a little more expensive but I needed it so ordered . It looks good, rich gold color. However the smell is repugnant. I can not stand to use it. I tried adding a few drops of essential oil to a small amount of it - not much better.

Smells Rancid
I have used this oil many times and was satisfied. This time I ordered the product smelled so bad . I mean it reeked ! I added it to some other oils before the smell hit me. I loss out big time this time around. I was able to get some of my money back but this manufacturer needs to check their products ASAP!

Smells very strong - beware
The smell is extremely strong, smells like toasted sesame oil. Which is strange to me, other safflower oils I have purchased do not have an aroma. I use this for massage normally, but I can't use this on clients as the scent is too potent. I appreciate the fact that this is organic and cold pressed, which may contribute to the strong smell.
