I used this for a 1995 Buick Century. I will admit, I used the old lock turner(the small metal piece that goes into the latch) and I used the shimmy(the piece that secures the lock, from the old lock. The shimmy was too short for my trunk, but the lock cylinder fit perfect and the quality is top notch. Just what I needed to fix it.

Item arrived on time and was a perfect fit. However, it was not an original Delco lock assembly. As a retired 47 year automotive tech I have installed a number of these, both Delco and aftermarket. This was an aftermarket item and that is just fine because both the Delco as well as the aftermarket items are very good quality. So if you need a lock cylinder for your vehicle I can certainly recommend these.

In the process of restoring my ,74 Nova hatchback I ended up having to replace the hatchback lock cylinder. The old one got jammed and I could not get the key out. Something to keep in mind is that the hatchback has a different bar that goes from the back of the lock cylinder into the latch assembly so you will need to save that if you are installing this in a hatchback model. The clip is also different so you will need to save and reuse the clip too. Both the existing clip and bar were in great shape so that was no big deal and the lock cylinder was not hard to replace at all. For very short money my hatchback is locked again and I can open it without issues.
