Can I make chunky baby food with this blender or does it only make purees?

Are the containers microwave safe if the baby doesn't like things cold?

Not positive I would imagine they are microwave safe seems you can freeze them. What I did was make big batches out food place it in ice trays covered with plastic wrap and freeze then store in a freezer bag . unthaw the amount you want in fridge and warm in microwave

Does it actually puree the food or is it just a high power blender?

It does puree the food mostly. Our issue was it smelled like burning plastic, and we found plastic shavings in our baby's food!
