Poor adhesion
Bought this for our deck we had to rebuild and it's thick durable but sticking is just not it's thing. Which once the composite is laid down the tops will be covered but won't stay stuck on sides. Very sad about this

Great product
Just make sure wood is dry and it works very well.

Great for the price
Putting in some deck stairs and wanted to protect the cut stringers... this tape worked great and was plentiful for the price. I had quite a few stringers to cover and used a full width 3" piece of tape on each tread and still had left over tape. I can't imagine this stuff being any thicker, so for durability, I would give it an A+. The adhesion wasn't 5/5, but now that the decking is installed, its not going anywhere. I'd buy this again .

Better than Trex brand
First roll we bought was the official Trex brand and is was soooo gummy/sticky making it hard to work with. That was sold out when we needed a second roll so we bought this instead and it's SO much better. Still sticks just as well to the wood, just much easier to get the protective tape cover off and cut if you need to use it in smaller areas.

Doesn't Adhere That Well, Had to Use Heat Gun on It
I installed this on deck joists in the Florida spring when it's warm and dry, not hot or too humid, and the adhesive had trouble stocking to the freshly painted clean surface. I had to use a heat gun on about 1/4 of it to soften it to wrap and adhere around the joist. Not sure of other joist tapes would have the same problem, but I would try another brand if I had to do it again.

Great product
I bought this product to place on lumber pieces when stacking them into a garden box. I feel that this product will help me gain some life of the lumber providing a better barrier of water/moisture. I do recommend this product.

Better than nothing but not as advertised.
Doesnt hold well on treated lumber. Initially it sticks but eventually needs to be stapled down if you don't overlay your deck boards right away. But, it seems pretty durable so time will tell how well it performs. Probably better than nothing especially on decks holding hot tubs.
