OK, so it was $10. It will work for a bit until it gets all rusty. I guess it depends on your level of use. I am planning to just go in the ocean for a 2 week trip and figured having something was better than nothing. But I do wish I would have spent the $10 more for this other knife with a real handle. Anyway, this thing will work, so I'm not saying don't get it, but if you can spare a few more bucks do something different. If you may lose it or just need something for a short time then definitely go for this. My tip was a bit blunted to had to sharpen myself, but the rest of the blade holds a decent sharpness.

I got a few of these to be bridesmaid gifts and lol these are so cool!!! I know they are going to love them and we are gonna have some fun with pictures.Right off the bat I noticed that the sheath is actually really nice and sturdy, it has a snap that keeps the knife in place. The knife was a decent weight (not flimsy nor heavy) and wrapped with a nylon cord (kinda loosely wrapped but hey it’s easier on the hands than just the metal)The blade is not super sharp right out of the box so don’t expect it to be sharp enough to cut hair but it can cut paper fine.Came with 2 leg straps which I had already read in other reviews that it wouldn’t fit my legs and those reviews are accurate so I purchased some 3/4” nylon webbing to replace the straps that came with them. If you are putting it on your arm or lower leg you will be fine but on your thigh you will want to buy some nylon webbing to replace/ lengthen those straps. (Straps are each roughly 18inches in length)Other than that I definitely recommend this product. I know I’m not using it as a diving knife (for now) but it makes a unique gift to your girls who got your back.

LOVE these knives, EXTREMELY SHARP right out of package. I got these because my husband is away a lot for work and i needed something to strap on me rather than a switch blade when I go somewhere. My only complaint is the straps are extremely small. I'm 130 pounds 5'5" and the straps are way to tight so i had to combined them to fit and the strap that holds the knives in the Hollister is very easily accidentally opened. Ive cut my leg a few times due to it getting caught on something and falling out of the Hollister. Over all I LOVE THEM but a few upgrades would be nice. Definitely worth the money!

The knife was sharp and cut sea weed with the serrated portion. However the strap was not large enough to fit over the thigh portion of my wetsuit so I had to strap it around my shin. The buckle portion of the sheath to keep the knife from falling out was weak and easily unbuckled when moving through kelp.

Very weight, havent checked the durability yet ..the handle rope very lose, i had to reinforce it and tape it to make it more manageable..over all not bad for a backup knife or a secondary, but not a primary definitely

Great for the price, sharp, light weight... I’m buying more for everyone in the family (seriously)

I bought this knife bc of the leg strap that i like but its definitely not useful. It wont stay on the leg as shown and there is no way to keep it there. Knife handle is loose. If you looking for a very light duty knife, this would be the cheapest option for you.
