The first thing I sliced when I got the machine was some white potatoes, carrots, and sweet potato. I find the feed tube to be a little small so you still have to cut everything so it will not only fit in the feed tube, but not clog it by getting wedged in there. Once I got the size of the vegetables right it really made fast work of slicing everything up. I found I needed a two handed approach. One hand held the pusher firmly down, while the other held the ON button. The button has to be held constantly or it turns off -- but that does not seem to be a real problem and makes it much easier to control, too. Sometimes I had to push hard to get the food in contact with the blade (I may not have gotten the size of the veg right), and thought the blade dragged a little if I pushed really hard, but it got through everything fine. Even though everything was small in diameter all the slices piled up nicely in my steamer pan, and I was able to season and steam them into a wonderful dish. (I made it again in a couple of days.) The look reminded me of potatoes au graten that my mother used to make. I don't grate cheese anymore since becoming a vegan, but I know this little gadget will make very fast work of grating cheese. (I had a similar machine in the past.) This one seems heavy and sturdy, so does not need suction cup feet. It stays where put when using. I like it and I would recommend it.

I love this, easy to assemble and rare apart for cleaning. Does vegetables and cheese. You can have a bowl or cheese or shredded vegetables in no time at all. Price was even better.

This is a very good product for the price. It works very well. BUT PRODUCT SUPPORT SUCKS. There is a small part that mechanically connects the drive motor and the rotating cutters. We accidently lost that part and I have been trying to get Quiotiy to SELL me a replacement part. However they deal with messages seems to be very unthinking because they continuously keep telling me about warranty and the fact that mine has expired. I am not trying to get a free part; I want to purchase them. I have never gotten any message from them that leads me to think they understand that I want to purchase. The also say try locally. However, that did not work out as I tried in my small community. Apparently, they cannot understand my simple request because they have never in several emails actually admitted to being unable to sell a part or refer me to someone who does.

It does great for what I usually use it for: Shredding cheese (which I do a lot). Making bread crumbs. (Can’t find gf bread crumbs that i like). It’s a lot like using my large food processor but less bulky, easier to clean and I think it works better for some things although the motor isn’t as powerful as the food processor. I wouldn’t recommend for finely grating Parmesan or chopping nuts. It strains the motor but i prefer shredded Parmesan anyhow and it works fine for that. It also doesn’t work real well for some veggies like celery. I’ve had mixed experiences with things like carrots and cabbage.

It’s a great addition to the kitchen, well made and grates, shreds, and slices in no time. I’m very pleased with the purchase.

I was hopeful -but it turned my kitchen into a disaster of cabbage! Turned out to be quite challenging at best! the pusher is open without flat surface to push down on -it forces the machine forward and lifts off the counter unless you counter press with much force on the push button in back- food outlet to counter space is a very shallow bowl! I’m packaging mine for return now. Disappointed!

Makes kitchen life easier.

this product will on shred a few vegetables, most will not go through completely and get stuck in the cutter and just smashing the items. Will not buy again.
